SMARTPanel Version 1.0: Early Detection of Drive Failures

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SubRosaSoft Announced SMARTPanel Version 1.0

Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, (May 27th, 2003)--- SubRosaSoft, Ltd., a
software company based in New Zealand focusing on disk utility and privacy
software, today announced the immediate availability of SubRosaSoft
SMARTPanel 1.0. SMARTPanel is an inexpensive utility that alert users of
any potential hard drive failure in time to react before any data is lost.

"SMARTPanel utilizes a feature called Self Monitoring Analysis and
Reporting Technology that is built into most modern hard drives to monitor
and alert a user of drive problems." Explained Marko Kostyrko,
SubRosaSoft's founder. He continued, "SMARTPanel is based on our recently
released SubRosaSoft DiskGuardian, but with an easy-to-use interface
designed for entry level users"

"Since the release of SubRosaSoft DiskGuardian we have had an enormous
number of request from users for a lite version suitable for use in
schools, research labs, and other similar environments." Said Marko
Kostyrko. He continued, "Users of SubRosaSoft DiskGuardian can download and
use SMARTPanel using their existing serial number free of charge."

"SMARTPanel is extremely straight forward to setup and use." Said Ben
Slaney, SMARTPanel co-author. "After the initial launch, SMARTPanel can be
set to an icon and sit quietly on your desktop to monitor your drives every
5 minutes to check for upcoming problems. When a potential problem is
detected, SMARTPanel will alert the user on screen."
