SMALL TREE COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES RECORD-BREAKING 10Gb ETHERNET
PERFORMANCE FOR APPLE INTEL-BASED SYSTEMS

Cost Effective Multi-Port 10GbE PCIe Solution

OAKDALE, MN, April 17, 2008 - Small Tree Communications, an industry leader
in providing state-of-the-art networking solutions, today announced the
immediate availability of software support for the Intel 10 Gigabit
Ethernet CX4 Dual Port product for Apple's Intel processor-based systems
running Mac OS X version 10.5 "Leopard." This solution provides network
transfer speeds up to 10 Gb/sec, supporting the most demanding networking
requirements for less than $1000.

"Constantly evolving technologies in today's markets require the ability to
stay competitive and one step ahead of everyone else" states Corky Seeber,
president of Small Tree Communications. "The addition of the Intel 10
Gigabit CX4 Dual Port Server Adapter provides cost-conscious businesses
with a brilliantly simple and affordable way to significantly increase
their workflow".

"Upgrading their network with Intel's 10GbE CX4 server adapter will
ultimately allow them to effectively take on a wider range of projects."
Adds Steve Modica, CTO for Small Tree, "CX4 is a super-inexpensive 10GB
interconnect. Combined with Small Tree's inexpensive CX4 capable Edge-corE
switches, we're opening a whole new world of video workflows to small and
mid-size customers".

"The growing demand for High Definition programming is driving the need for
greater network bandwidth among the companies providing and developing this
content," said Tom Swinford, general Manager of Intel's LAN Access
Division. "Small Tree's custom drivers and the Intel 10 Gigabit CX4 Dual
Port Server Adapter provide a cost-effective entry point into the world of
10GbE networking, allowing broadcasters and studios to fully support the
transition to High Definition Broadcasting."

"The combination of Apple and Intel products with Small Tree Software
increases the capability for our customers to achieve the best results from
these products." Seeber continued. "We continue to work closely with Intel
and Apple to ensure the best possible performance of their products for the
Mac marketplace."

The 10 Gigabit Ethernet CX4 dual-port adapter retails for $995.
