Readdle has released Scanner Pro 1.2
(http://readdle.com/products/scannerpro), the latest version of their
popular iPhone application which transforms the device into a
portable scanner. Scanner Pro 1.2 introduces integration with Print n
Share from EuroSmartz, the all round iPhone printing application.
This integration will enable owners of the both applications to
seamlessly scan and then print documents to any USB, WIFI, Bluetooth
or network printer via a Mac or PC. Another highly anticipated
addition of the new version is the ability to upload scanned
documents to Dropbox cloud storage.

"Scanner Pro is designed to scan multipage documents and transform
them into industry standard PDF files, while Print n Share enables
people to print documents from their iPhones. Integration between
those two applications was inevitable," says Igor Zhadanov, Readdle

Prior to this type of integration iPhone developers were trying to
implement all functions their users might need individually,
resulting in long development cycles and highly complex
applications. Co-operation between Readdle and EuroSmartz is an
example of the new trend in the App Store, where established iPhone
developers combine their efforts to add more functionality to their
applications.

Support of the Dropbox cloud storage service is another very
important enhancement implemented in Scanner Pro 1.2. Now, both free
and paid Dropbox users can upload documents to their accounts
directly from Scanner Pro. It makes Scanner Pro first third-party
iPhone application that works with Dropbox.

Both applications are compatible with iPhones running iPhone OS 2.2.1
and later. Scanner Pro 1.2 is available on Apple App Store at $6.99
USD to the new customers and as a free upgrade for existing users.
