Roundtrip Public Beta Now Available for Download

QuarkXPress users are encouraged to trial first solution for full,
bi-directional XML support within QuarkXPress

London - October 10, 2002 - Easypress Technologies today announced the
availability of the first public beta version of Atomik Roundtrip - the new
software solution announced at last month's Seybold conference and
exhibition. Atomik Roundtrip is the first software to provide full,
bi-directional XML support for QuarkXPress. The public beta is available by
registering online at www.easypress.com.

"The growth of XML adoption has been unprecedented and it is with this in
mind that we have launched a public beta program to ensure that Atomik
Roundtrip works with the wide variety of XML types that now exist." said
Nick Reed, Easypress Technologies director of product strategy. "We
encourage all QuarkXPress users who are either currently using XML in their
workflow or who have ambitions in this direction, to sign up for the beta
program and provide us with the feedback to enable the launch of a strong
1.0 product."

'Roundtripping'
Atomik Roundtrip will enable users to import XML into QuarkXPress and
faithfully re-export it. With a single click, users can update the
QuarkXPress document if the source XML file(s) change and update the source
XML file(s) if the QuarkXPress document changes. This ensures consistency of
content across all media, efficient reuse of content and rapid updates of
timely information.

XML content can be added to QuarkXPress documents through a simple drag and
drop process or by using the Atomik Roundtrip place holder technology to
import individual XML elements or collections of XML elements into
predefined templates. No other product provides the level of support for
'roundtripping' XML in QuarkXPress promised by Atomik Roundtrip 1.0.

eXtensible Markup Language (XML) has established itself as the standard
format for holding structured content. All the major software vendors
including Microsoft, IBM and Oracle are placing XML at the centre of their
plans. QuarkXPress is the world's leading page layout tool with over 2
million users worldwide. By providing full XML support for QuarkXPress,
Atomik Roundtrip is combining two leading technologies to create a new breed
of publishing tool.

Special Discount for Beta Testers
As a thank you for taking part in the beta program, all beta testers will be
offered a 10% discount* on orders for Atomik Roundtrip 1.0 placed before
15th November 2002.
