RELDATA and ATTO Technology Provide High-Speed
IP SANs to Apple Mac OS X Infrastructures

RELDATA IP Storage Gateway 9200 certified with ATTO Xtend SAN iSCSI Initiator

Parsippany, NJ -- October 9, 2006 -- RELDATA Inc., the innovative provider
of modular, universal IP storage systems, today announced that its RELDATA
IP Storage Gateway 9200 has successfully completed interoperability testing
with the ATTO Xtend SAN iSCSI initiator package for Mac. ATTO Technology,
Inc. is a global leader of storage connectivity and infrastructure
solutions for data-intensive computing environments. Organizations with
Apple Mac OS X client/server infrastructures can immediately benefit from
certified blazing-fast modular IP SAN solutions with improvements in the
cost, operating distance, and manageability of their distributed storage
networks.

"The ATTO RELDATA certification provides a new generation of
enterprise-class IP storage solutions to Apple Mac OS X users," states Ed
Tierney, director of marketing for ATTO Technology. "Teaming up with
RELDATA offers our common partners and customers an easy and affordable way
to extend Apple Mac OS X platforms with a pre-certified high-performance
iSCSI SAN facilitating an enterprise-wide consolidation of their database
and operating system storage."

The ATTO Xtend SAN iSCSI initiator package is designed to extend Apple Mac
OS X platforms with a reliable iSCSI connectivity to industry-standard IP
SANs, using standard network interface cards (NICs). It provides Apple Mac
OS X infrastructures with application storage access via existing Ethernet
networks, enabling storage centralization and consolidation at an extremely
affordable price. Used in combination with the RELDATA IP Storage Gateway
9200, it enables Apple Mac OS X infrastructures to be leveraged with a
modular, universal RELDATA IP Storage solution. RELDATA's IP Storage
virtualization appliance provides truly parallel high-speed iSCSI SAN and
NAS access to shared storage resources, combining this with superior remote
replication and data-recovery functionality on both block- and file-level.
The open storage interoperability allows users to consolidate
industry-standard Fibre Channel, SCSI and iSCSI storage resources into one
single virtualized storage volume pool. RELDATA's powerful virtualization
technology also makes it simple for system administrators to tailor RELDATA
IP storage solutions to their needs -- whether it's high performance
transactional database or vital applications like e-mail, web, CRM or ERP
solutions.

"ATTO Technology enables us to offer our modular, universal IP Storage
solutions to the Apple Mac OS world," says Boris Anderer, CEO of RELDATA.
"This enables system administrators to create both, blazing fast IP SANs
and seamlessly scalable enterprise NAS shares on the fly. In addition they
can easily build cost-effective local and remote disaster recovery
solutions with scalable data recovery point and time objectives."
