REGISTER.COM LAUNCHES SERVICE TO HELP CORPORATIONS CONSOLIDATE DOMAIN NAME
ASSETS

Domain Round-Up service allows corporate clients to organize information
for all their domains, helping them to save time, money and potential
outages

New York, NY, August 14, 2000 Register.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: RCOM), one of
the leading domain name registrars on the Internet, today announced the
launch of Domain Round-Up, a new search tool that allows companies to
consolidate and organize their registered domain names under one account.

Domain Round-Up provides companies with a comprehensive list of all domain
names previously registered, whether they were processed by an outside
agency, law firm, or former employee and regardless of the registrar used.
This allows the names to be consolidated for dedicated account management,
facilitating domain management and renewals.

Many companies have registered hundreds, if not thousands, of domain names
through numerous employees and service providers, making it difficult to
keep track of exactly which names they have registered, where they are
pointing and when they need to be renewed, said Richard Forman, president
and CEO of register.com. With Domain Round-Up, we give our corporate
clients an efficient and inexpensive way to locate and manage all of their
registered domains, preventing unnecessary confusion as well as potential
site outages.

Domain Round-Up can round up information on a companys registered domain
names based on specific search criteria. One of the ways the search can be
done is by submitting a keyword, such as the company name or the names of
company products and services. Once a listing of names has been compiled,
they are then categorized by email address, contact name, or phone number,
depending on the Corporate Clients specific preference.

To compile a report of this magnitude would be an extremely time consuming
and difficult task, said Mark Calandra, Director of register.coms
Corporate Services Division. Thanks to innovative services like Domain
Round-Up, our Corporate Clients can rest assured that were doing the
thinking for them as their full-service domain management provider.
