PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT

INFOWAVE POWERPRINT MOBILE EDITION GIVES APPLE iBOOKS AND POWERBOOKS
FREEDOM TO PRINT ON THE ROAD

New product provides travelling Mac users the ability to easily connect to
virtually any PC printer anywhere

Burnaby, BC, April 20, 2000 Infowave Software, Inc., creators of the
awardwinning Mac printing solutions PowerPrint and StyleScript, today
announced PowerPrint Mobile Edition, the first customized printing solution
for Mac users who travel with their USB Powerbook or iBook. As a Mac
portable accessory, PowerPrint Mobile Edition also includes Delorme Street
Atlas USA 6.0 for Macintosh, a TeleAdapt Telespool and an Ethernet
crossover cable. PowerPrint Mobile Edition makes it easier for users to
access over 1600 PC printers while they are away from their office or home.

"Almost 90% of printers the road warrior encounters do not come with Mac
drivers," says KevinJampole, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Imaging
Division for Infowave Software. "PowerPrint Mobile Edition solves this
problem by providing an easy and cost effective way to connect a Mac to
virtually any PC printer. PowerPrint has been the Mac connectivity solution
for printing to a PC printer for over 13 years. PowerPrint Mobile Edition
meets the needs of the iBook and PowerBook users who require the freedom
and flexibility to connect to PC printers they encounter anywhere."

PowerPrint Mobile Edition is ideal for anyone who needs a portable and
effortless printing solution. Students may need to print at the school
library, at the computer lab, at home or at a friend's house. Business
travelers may use printers at the office, in the airport lounge or in their
hotel room or work center. With Infowave's USB-to-Parallel converter cable
and software, PowerPrint Mobile Edition is the complete solution for
connecting your Mac to virtually any PC printer. A comprehensive list of
supported printers is located at www.infowave.com/pcl.

To complement the mobility that PowerPrint Mobile Edition provides, several
value-added portable accessories are also included (more than $70 in value):

* Delorme Street Atlas USA 6.0, leading map software for the Mac, performs
quick searches for business and residential addresses, gives point-to-point
driving instructions and detailed, scalable maps.

* TeleAdapt 6 foot, retractable phone cord gives hassle-free connection for
dial-up access.

* Ethernet crossover cable that facilitates productivity by networking two
Macs directly together

Pricing and Availability
PowerPrint Mobile Edition will be available in North America for an
estimated street price of US$99 in May, 2000. Customers can order a copy of
PowerPrint Mobile Edition for a special pre-order price at the Infowave
Webstore (www.infowave.com/printanywhere) or by phoning 800/663-6222.
