CTM Development is pleased to announce the release PowerMail 4.0, its $49
e-mail application for Macintosh, natively supported both on Mac OS X
(Carbon) and Mac OS 8.6 to 9.2.1 (Classic).

What's new in this release:

* "Recent Mail" interactive log window - useful to quickly
process mail
* Partial POP3 downloads - selectively fetch large messages
* SSL security - for IMAP, POP3 and SMTP with multiple
authentication
* Server-side mail management - to clean up server contents
* Enhanced address book - includes daughter windows for groups
* User interface redesign - complies with Mac OS X Aqua
guidelines
* Text clippings - stationery-like feature for repetitive
messages
* Mail Schedulings and Locations - new mobile &
PowerBook-friendly settings
* Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) compatibility and Quartz text
smoothing
* English, Japanese, French, German and Dutch user-interfaces

Overall, PowerMail 4.0 delivers 67 improvements (38 new features
and 29 fixes) - since version 3.1.2 !

PowerMail 4.0 is now available as a single disk image
containing both X and Classic versions. It runs as a 30-day
demonstration version and can be registered online.

English, Japanese, French, German and Dutch user-interfaces
are included and selected automatically based on the
operating system language.
