Perceptive Automation Releases Indigo Version 1.8

Dallas, TX - February 9, 2006 - Perceptive Automation announced today the
immediate availability of Indigo version 1.8, an update to the company's
intelligent home control and automation server for Mac OS X.

Indigo v1.8 now provides support for INSTEON, SmartLabs' home-control
networking technology and SmartLabs' PowerLinc V2 home automation
interface. INSTEON uses a dual-mesh (wireline and radio frequency)
communications technology to link together core home systems such as
lighting, security, comfort control, security systems, home sensors,
consumer electronics and appliances for remote monitoring and control. Now
Macintosh users can manage their INSTEON-enabled home control products from
their computer.

"With Indigo's intuitive user interface and sophisticated control logic,
users have unprecedented home control using their Macintosh computers and a
wide range of home automation control hardware," said Matt Bendiksen,
President of Perceptive Automation.

"We are pleased at the speed in which Perceptive Automation was able to
integrate INSTEON support into Indigo 1.8," said Ken Fairbanks, VP Sales of
SmartLabs, Inc. "We are thrilled to be able to expand the reach of
INSTEON-enabled products to Macintosh users."

Indigo provides native support for the INSTEON-enabled PowerLinc V2 (#2414U
& 2814UB, available separately) CM-11, LynX-PLC, MR26, and W800RF32. These
interfaces allow Indigo to remotely communicate with INSTEON and X10
devices throughout the home, giving users remote programmable control over
lights, appliances, irrigation systems, and HVAC. Additionally, Indigo
boasts integrated support of the popular Salling Clicker application,
allowing wireless home control via Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones and
PDAs, and the Ovolab Phlink telephony device, allowing remote home control
from any touch-tone telephone.

Pricing and Availability

Indigo v1.8 is available now for $89.95 through the Perceptive Automation
website, www.perceptiveautomation.com. Also available online is a 30 day
trial copy of Indigo. Indigo v1.8 is a free update to customers of v1.x.
Indigo runs on Mac OS X v10.2.6 or greater, and requires a supported
INSTEON or X10 computer interface: PowerLinc, CM-11, or LynX-PLC.
