OmniPilot Software, Inc. Acquires Lasso

OmniPilot Software, Inc. Acquires Lasso Product Line from Blue World
Communications, Inc.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug 2, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- OmniPilot Software,
Inc., a provider of cross platform business opportunity management
software, announced today that it has acquired the Lasso product suite from
Blue World Communications, Inc. The Lasso suite of cross platform software
tools allows companies to quickly build and serve powerful data-driven Web
sites. Financial terms were not disclosed.

OmniPilot Software chief operating officer, Chad Roll, commented on the
acquisition saying, "We believe there is a substantial market opportunity
to provide SME's (small-to-medium enterprises) with the ability to optimize
their online presence. Lasso products provide the ability to connect any
database to any Web server on any platform providing us with a solid
foundation for future growth."

Blue World Communications will close its offices in Bellevue, Washington in
August 2004. Blue World's Lasso development team will be relocated to
OmniPilot Software headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

"OmniPilot is positioned to build upon Blue World's accomplishments over
the last ten years," said Bill Doerrfeld, founder, president and CEO of
Blue World Communications. "It has been a privilege helping thousands of
Web professionals quickly build and serve data-driven Web sites via the
Lasso product line."

Founded in 1992, Blue World Communications cross-platform software tools
are used by more than 15,000 corporations around the world, including Apple
Computer, Inc. (AAPL), Symantec Corp. (SYMC), Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO),
Sun Microsystems, Inc. (SUNW), and OmniPilot Software's parent company,
Starmark International. A full-service marketing communications agency,
Starmark International has successfully employed Lasso in the development
of Web sites for a wide variety of clients, including Citrix, Motorola,
Siemens as well as many hospitality and government clients.

Brett Circe, who serves as both president of OmniPilot Software and partner
of Starmark International, spearheaded the marketing agency's adoption of
Lasso. "What has impressed me about Lasso is that we have been able to
upgrade our code since 1996 with little or no effort, and, we can develop
solutions using Lasso in half the code of other popular middleware
languages. That's why OmniPilot applications are built in the Lasso
development language."
