OmniPilot Software Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary of Lasso at

FILEMAKER DEVELOPER CONFERENCE - Orlando, Fla. - (August 13 - 17,
2006) - This year marks the 10-year anniversary of Lasso, OmniPilot
Software, Inc.'s professional Web programming language. Ten years
ago, Lasso was developed to tie FileMaker databases to the Web.
FileMaker is famous for its ease-of-use when building timesaving
databases for desktop use. Lasso allowed developers to create a
custom Web site, which displayed data from their FileMaker database.
Lasso was developed to excel in ease-of-use, performance, security
and power.

"We are happy to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of our Lasso
product line at this year's FileMaker DevCon," said Brett Circe,
president of OmniPilot Software, Inc. "Lasso continues to be the best
way to tie FileMaker to the Web, and we will continue to prove it in
the next 10 years."

Today Lasso offers a large toolset of advanced programming features
to build complete Web-based applications. OmniPilot has dedicated a
section on its Web site to serve as a resource for FileMaker
developers seeking information about the capabilities of working with
Lasso, (http://www.omnipilot.com/filemaker)

One part of this new section answers the Frequently Asked Questions
(FAQs) of FileMaker users who attended the FileMaker Conference in
Vienne, France earlier this year. FMFrance attendees were given a
special demonstration of Lasso 8.5 and the new Chart FX for Lasso.
Other items in this new section include a Quick Start guide for
FileMaker Server Advanced users, the FREE Lasso Developer edition,
the Lasso and PHP comparison paper, and much more.

At this year's FM DevCon, OmniPilot will demonstrate and discuss
Lasso Professional Server 8.5's latest capabilities including
FileMaker 8 support, back-end support for FileMaker 8.5 Web Viewers,
AJAX and Web 2.0 techniques, Chart FX enterprise charting, and more.
Copies of the Lasso/PHP comparison paper, written by MacTech magazine
are available, and for anyone comparing languages this is a MUST
READ!

To commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Lasso, OmniPilot Software
is offering a few special discounts. Users can upgrade to Lasso
Server 8.5 from ANY PREVIOUS VERSION of Lasso Server for only $299
and all new Lasso Server licenses are only $599. For more
information, please visit (http://store.omnipilot.com/) or contact
OmniPilot at 800-678-9958.
