MTG-Ruksun Launches Easy Diary Calendaring & Scheduling Service

Pushing the Boundaries of Scheduling and Collaboration from LANs and
Intranets onto the World Wide Web

PUNE, INDIA - October 1st, 1998 (MMG) -- Messaging Technologies Group, a
division of Ruksun Software Technologies of India, today announced the
launch of Easy Diary (located at: http://www.easydiary.com ), a free
web-based calendar and scheduling service. This new service provides an
efficient and dependable tool for day planning, making and confirming
appointments and meetings, as well as sending or receiving event reminders.

For high profile consultants, time management has become critical. To be
able to get in touch with clients and business associates through email or
phone-tag has become frustrating. Easy Diary makes life easier by
sidestepping these time-consuming procedures.

However, because it is free, Easy Diary is useful in a variety of low
profile situations. A housewife scheduling appointments with a hairdresser
or doctor, or taking RSVPs for her child's birthday party can use Easy
Diary as simply as a busy manager scheduling meetings with business
colleagues.

"Easy Diary seeks to address the web community's need for a convenient
messaging, scheduling, and calendaring application which has the benefits
of global accessibility and platform independence," explains Ruksun CEO,
Mr. Rajkumar Chainani. "Web-based calendaring is the next hot thing
happening on the web."

Equipped with a powerful contacts management system, Easy Diary allows
users to view their contacts' available time slots and make appointments.

Additional features include:

o Contact book -- easier than ever to use and update
o Simplified Scheduling Permissions -- simple to view, grant or
deny scheduling permission for multiple contacts at once
o Time Zone Settings -- for frequent travelers, allows you to store
entries in different time zones
o Power Search -- now quickly find contacts within your address book
o Alerts -- Easy Diary recognizes when you have been added to
someone else's address book

The world is witnessing a continued growth in Internet proliferation into
the various facets of our lives. As this moves forward, the potential for a
service such as Easy Diary is enormous, ranging from communication to
collaboration to commerce on the web. With web savvy communities on the
rise, Easy Diary will continue to enable these communities to interact and
allow them to manage their time more efficiently. Easy Diary will simplify
an important aspect of life for mobile professionals who need access to
their schedules wherever they go, just as it will for the professional who
works from home.

Easy Diary is a global first! No other web-based service offers the same
combination of convenience features. The interactive nature of this service
addresses the web user's long-awaited need for public information managers
-- Easy Diary facilitates the sharing of information with multiple contacts
of your choice.

Ruksun's Business Unit Manager, Anita Kulkarni Puranik, says "E-mail has
become a very popular tool for personal communication. However, its one-way
nature limits the way people can interact with each other."

Easy Diary gives you a more direct way to interact with people. Use it to
manage time for work, or just for fun. Easy Diary is based on the
integration of various messaging protocols, including the recommendations
of the CAL-SCH group of the IETF. These specifications have been adhered to
in order to ensure extensibility and inter-operability of calendaring data.
