Backdora for Eudora is a back-up maker and restore'a
Seem Software introduces Backdora version 2, the easy-to-use Windows
98/95/NT4 utility that lets you effortlessly back up, copy, move and
restore Eudora e-mail folders. In addition to giving you "one-button"
back-up capabilities for saving all or selected Eudora e-mail
folders, Backdora also secures your Eudora Address Book, add-in's,
attachments, signature files and user profiles.
With e-mail being a vital communication link between business people,
Backdora adds convenience and safety to the management of this
crucial resource. It lets you quickly compress and move any number of
e-mail folders from your desktop computer to your laptop - and back
again. In addition, Backdora allows you to easily create backups of
your key e-mail folders, with or without your e-mail's attachments,
for convenient on-site or critical off-site storage. The program's
Quick Backup function works like your telephone's re-dial button,
allowing you to create backups effortlessly. And its backup reminder
system will alert you when it's time to make another backup.
Backdora lets you make backups for your Eudora e-mail folders without
having to keep track of how your folders are named, or where they're
stored on your computer, so you can concentrate on your e-mails and
not on your computer. You can rename your e-mail folders, and change
their position in the directory tree. Backdora allows you to copy
your data to your hard drive, zip drive, diskettes, or network drive.
It also can span diskettes automatically. A log is created every time
you back up, copy, move or restore your e-mail folders.
Traditional backup programs can create backups of all of your hard
drive's files, but they're not designed to locate Eudora's mail
folders or your other Eudora files, or to selectively move folders
back and forth between computers. Nor are they designed to locate and
integrate folders from one computer into the folder structure of
another. Backdora, however, performs these functions flawlessly for
all versions of Eudora.
