FIRST MACINTOSH SEARCH ENGINE SUBMIT APPLICATION RELEASED
(Bonn, Germany, 27 April 1999). German Macintosh shareware developer
Voget Selbach Enterprises has released VSE Be Found 1.0, the first
Macintosh application that automatically submits a web page to search
engines.
VSE Be Found is a combination of a search engine submitter, a keyword
finder, an FTP client and a META tag manager.
To achieve a high position in search engine listings, VSE Be Found
automatically finds keywords and adds all necessary META tags to a
web page.
Then, VSE Be Found uploads the web page to your server with its
built-in FTP client. After that, it submits the web page to the most
popular search engines, including AltaVista, AOL NetFind, Excite,
HotBot and Lycos.
BENEFITS
If a web site is not getting as many visitors as it should, it is
likely that it is not ranked well on the major Internet search
engines. If a web site is not located in the Top 30 listings of the
most popular search engines, chances are the site will never be seen.
VSE Be Found makes it possible to obtain top listings on the most
popular search engines. It gives individual and detailed tips how to
improve the ranking on search engines for each web page.
EXPANSION KITS
VSE Be Found expansion kits extend the list of search engines.
Currently, there is a "German Basic" expansion kit available that
adds the 10 most important German search engines to VSE Be Found.
VSE BE FOUND PROFESSIONAL
The application comes in two editions. The Professional edition
contains all the features of the Standard edition but also includes
the ability to create an unlimited number of submit profiles.
Multiple submit profiles are useful for submitting more than one web
page and for submitting web pages for clients.
