TRipp Lite announces industry's first Full-Feature UPS management software
for the macintosh platform

protection products, introduces the first UPS management software developed
exclusively to provide full-feature UPS management and control for Apple
Macintosh computers.

Tripp Lite's PowerAlert Software for Macintosh will allow users to view
operating conditions, load, capacity and other vital UPS information in an
easy-to-read graphical interface. Users can respond to such warnings as
temperature and battery drain to maximize protection of their systems.
PowerAlert Software allows users to set a shutdown delay in order to work
through the majority of brownouts and blackouts without having to shut down
their system.

PowerAlert Software also performs a self-test of the UPS and allows users
to automatically reboot the UPS or turn on or off AC receptacles when

only contact-closure "dumb" management. This management allowed for
automatic shutdown only, whereas PowerAlert Software will now offer
