FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

World Language Resources Teaching the World to Tango

WLR Customers Can Search the Web
in Languages Other than English with Alis Technologies' Browser

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 14, 1998) -- World Language Resources, Inc.
(WLR), the online provider of the largest selection of language-related
products in the industry, announced today that it now offers Alis
Technologies' Tango Browser V.3.1 on its Web site at
www.worldlanguage.com. Tango is a high-performance, multilingual Internet
browser that makes Web pages that have been developed in any of more than
90 languages readable in the user's preferred language.

Languages supported include left-to-right languages such as English,
French, German, Italian and Spanish, and right-to-left read languages such
as Hebrew and Arabic, as well as Ideographic languages such as Chinese,
Japanese and Korean.

With the flexibility of a 19-language interface, users can view menus,
messages, and on-line help in their native language. The interface can be
switched on-the-fly to suit the language needs of multiple users. Designed
to eliminate the time wasted scrolling through Web pages in search of
hyperlinks to specific language versions, Tango uses the preferred language
list specified during installation to automatically display a page in one
of the languages, whenever such a version is available.

Tango is the only browser to offer truly internationalized content. For
instance, while the "What'sNew" quick-access button on the English
interface leads to "What's New on Yahoo!", the same button on the Spanish
interface, labeled "Novedades", will instead take you to a site of interest
to Spanish-speaking users.
In addition to providing multimedia capabilities and support for
Cookies, the user-friendly browser incorporates support for frames as well
as transaction security with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption.

Fully Integrated Mail Program
A flexible and highly versatile tool, Tango includes a completely
integrated mail program with address book and attachment capabilities.
Tango Mail has its own Language Menu so users can change the interface to
suit their needs. Once the interface is selected, Tango Mail automatically
selects a keyboard and code set to match the current user interface.

The software package provides a quick-reference pop-up keyboard and can
recognize the linguistic profile of each regular correspondent to analyze
and accurately display incoming messages, and to automatically send
messages in the appropriate format.

Broad Range of Applications
Applications for the Tango Browser range from individuals who prefer to
view Web pages in their native language to market researchers who want to
expand their global reach. With its pop-up keyboard and support for a wide
variety of languages, Tango can also be used when "mailto" links or forms
to be filled out in languages other than English.

"World Language was built on the principle of providing customers with
fast, easy access to thousands of quality products for hundreds of
languages, "said John Glascock, WLR President. "Alis' Tango Browser will do
well on our site because it is such a well-designed product that everyone
from students to corporate executives will find useful."

Installation, Pricing
Tango comes with a state-of-the-art Setup program that allows users to
customize theirbrowsing preferences. During installation, the user selects
the interface languages (19 available) language versions of the help files
(16 available), language support (up to 98 available) and fonts that will
be used most often. If preferred, users can start with a minimal
installation and add other components later. When Tango is installed, its
fully integrated Tango Mail program is installed and ready to use after
recording the POP username and host name.

Compatible with the leading browsers on the market today, the Tango
Multilingual Browser can be used as the primary browser or as a complement
to another browser. System requirements for using the Tango Browser include
at least a 386 PC, 8MB of memory, Microsoft Windows version 3.1 or higher
(including Windows 95) and a modem or an Internet connection.

WLR offers three versions of the Tango Multilingual Browser: Tango Lite V.
3.1 (Arabic, French, English) is only $19.95; the standard 90-language
versions--Tango Browser V. 3.1 and Tango Browser Pro with Japanese Support
V. 3.1--are priced at $59.95 and $84.95 respectively.
