Register.com Marks Millionth Registration

www.granny-to-be.com, registered by grandmother and entrepreneur Felicia
Reymont, is millionth domain name handled by register.com

New York, NY September 2, 1999 Register.com, Inc. (www.register.com),
the largest independent domain name registrar on the Internet, today
announced its domain registration submissions surpassed the million mark on
August 31, 1999. Felicia Reymont of New York City was the millionth
Internet domain name registration handled by register.com when she
registered www.granny-to-be.com to build a site offering products and
services for new grandmothers.

"At register.com, helping entrepreneurs to take their first step on the Web
is what we're all about, so we're especially proud to have
www.granny-to-be.com as our millionth domain name," said register.com CEO
Richard Forman. "The Internet has created fantastic opportunities for
people to make their dream of starting a business a reality and Felicia
Reymont embodies this spirit. As a young company, we understand first-hand
what small businesses need to succeed in e-commerce, and we're also living
proof of how quickly they can grow."

Ms. Reymont, who is also a songwriter, registered www.granny-to-be.com
initially to distribute a song she wrote and produced, "The Mom of a
Mom-to-Be." In the future, she plans to develop the site's offerings to
include other products for new grandmothers.

"I'm constantly hatching ideas for potential new businesses, which is why I
find the Internet so exciting," said Ms. Reymont, who formerly founded an
aerobics business in Westchester and a retail packaging service in Florida.
"It was only a few months ago that I realized how easy it was to register a
name through register.com. Now I find myself on the site all the time,
checking out names for different business plans."

Ms. Reymont has also registered www.neverused.com through register.com to
build a site aimed at people who want to sell clothes and other items that
have never been worn or used. To help her get started on her ventures, Ms.
Reymont will also receive a free USA.NET customized and branded e-mail
account with her new domain name.

Register.com offers customers the ability to register domain names with a
wide array of top-level domain (TLD) extensions, including .com, .net,
.org, .co.uk, .md, .fm and .sh. Selected as one of five companies worldwide
to receive official accreditation by ICANN, register.com was the first
registrar to start registering .com, .net and .org domain names in addition
to Network Solutions, Inc (Nasdaq: NSOL).
