WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, April 19, 1999 - CE Software, Inc., a wholly

Mac OS 8," said Ryan Wurtz, QuicKeys 4.0 preview tester. "I'm very
impressed. Just when you think that something can't get any better,
it does."

Keith Brindley of MacUser magazine in the United Kingdom wrote,
"QuicKeys 4.0 promises to be a worthy upgrade to an already powerful

the Macintosh desktop.

- Web Launcher provides access to a Web or FTP site with the press of a key.
- Instant E-mail compresses and sends files via E-mail in a single step.
- Advance Text Tools automatically reformats and "cleans up" text from the
Web or E-mail.
- Password Vault stores passwords in encrypted text for added security.
- File Handler locks, unlocks, renames or moves a file or group of files in a
single step.
- File Recall finds recent files fast and opens them with one keystroke.
- View Switcher organizes folder contents according to the user's preferences.
