Extensis Announces Support for Apple QuickTime 4
Portfolio 4.1 is the First QuickTime 4-Savvy Media Asset Management Database

Portland, OR - June 24, 1999 - Extensis Corporation today announced
the availability of Portfolio 4.1, a free update to registered users
of Portfolio 4.0, its award-winning software for digital media asset
management. In addition, Extensis today announced full compatibility
with Apple QuickTime 4 within Portfolio 4.1. By incorporating support
for QuickTime 4, users can now easily distribute, manage, and share
all their digital assets including QuickTime, Flash, FlashPix and MP3
files. Portfolio 4.1 is available for download at the Extensis Web
site: www.extensis.com.

QuickTime 4 is the latest version of Apple's industry-leading
multimedia software for Macintosh and Windows platforms. QuickTime 4
features "streaming" of live and stored video and audio over the
Internet, and is the first Internet streaming solution to use open,
industry-standard protocols (RTP and RSTP). New features of QuickTime
4 include an all new, sleek QuickTime Player that offers easy access
to QuickTime content, and significant enhancements to the QuickTime
PictureViewer application and QuickTime Web Browser Plug-in.

Portfolio: Scalable Digital Asset Management Portfolio 4.0 is a
completely scalable media asset management solution; this
functionality allows individuals, workgroups, or entire corporations
to manage digital assets through Portfolio. Users may purchase the
stand-alone, or client software, and workgroups with multiple copies
of Portfolio can share catalogs on a network. When workgroups are
ready to scale up to accommodate more users in a client/server
environment, they can purchase Portfolio Server, which comes with
five client seats and the Portfolio Web server plug-in. Portfolio Web
Edition allows users complete flexibility to provide people with
accessible, searchable information and media assets over the Internet.

Pricing and Availability
Portfolio 4.1 is a free update for registered users of Portfolio 4.0.
New users may purchase the stand-alone or client version of Portfolio
4.1 for an estimated street price of $199.95. Portfolio Server 4.1
for Windows NT includes five clients and a copy of the Portfolio Web
server plug-in and is available for an estimated street price
$2499.95. Portfolio Web Edition 4.1 is available for an estimated
street price of $399.95.
