[NPL] Personal Edition of GoLive CyberStudio

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GoLive Systems Tackles the Consumer Market

The New Personal Edition Is the First Web Authoring Product to Bring Full
Layout Control and Site Management Functionality to the Consumer Market

Atlanta, GA/Electronic Entertainment Expo (May 29, 1998) GoLive Systems,
Inc., today announced the immediate availability of a $99 Personal Edition
of GoLive CyberStudio, its award-winning, Macintosh-based Web page layout
tool. A free competitive upgrade is also available directly from GoLive.

"For quite some time, we considered how we could offer a product to the
consumer market that provides all the power that anyone needs to create a
viable Web site," said Andreas Poliza, chairman and CEO of GoLive Systems,
Inc. "GoLive CyberStudio Personal Edition is the first product in its price
range that provides the layout tools, integrated site management, source
code control, and usability features missing from all other Web tools. This
one, intuitive program provides everything users need to turn their design
skills loose on a single Web page or on an entire site. It's perfect for
the cost-conscious Macintosh user who demands professional-quality
results."

GoLive CyberStudio has received top honors worldwide from press and
customers for offering its users limitless creative freedom when designing
and managing Web sites. This Personal Edition offers users a complete tool
set for Web site design, layout, and maintenance. It includes powerful
features for visual layout and design, advanced site management, HTML
source code and JavaScript editing, as well as several user-defined
options. Yet, GoLive CyberStudio Personal Edition's intuitive drag & drop
interface makes the software as easy to use as a Macintosh.

GoLive CyberStudio Personal Edition Features

Visual Layout and Design Control GoLive CyberStudio Personal Edition allows
users to visually lay out Web pages with full graphical control. Where
other graphical Web authoring products work much like a word processor,
GoLive CyberStudio works just like page layout software, letting users
place page elements on a grid, and controlling elements' attributes with
pixel-level precision. GoLive CyberStudio lets users see all the elements
on their pages without the cumbersome task of switching back and forth to a
browser. For example, users simply drag & drop the latest multimedia les
onto their Web page and watch them come to life. CyberStudio users can also
visually preview and edit frame sets without switching back and forth to a
browser.

Advanced Site Management GoLive CyberStudio's praised Project Manager
allows users to design, create, import, edit and view entire sites as
complete projects. CyberStudio lets users graphically see a site's
structure, adjust a site's hierarchy, add pages, delete pages, open
individual pagesas well as visually verify, change and update links and
anchors. Unlike other products, CyberStudio Personal Edition can visually
check and repair broken links within a Web page. Its spell checker can
check any single page or an entire site. And with CyberStudio, users can
easily upload or download individual Web pages or an entire Web site via
FTP, as well as quickly open and edit HTML documents on Web servers for
last-minute changes.

HTML Native File Format Unlike other Web site authoring tools, GoLive
CyberStudio Personal Edition always works in an HTML native le format.
Although CyberStudio works visually, it produces good, clean HTML source
code that users can easily view and editat any timein CyberStudio's
full-functioning source code editor. They can even view the HTML backbone
of a Web page in a clear-cut outline view. Of course, GoLive CyberStudio
Personal Edition users can share their HTML files with othersusing any
other HTML authoring tool or text editoron any type of computer.
User-Defined Options GoLive CyberStudio Personal Edition features several
items which allows users to customize the program to their particular
needs. Users can save and name their own colors and fonts within project
files. CyberStudio users can create and easily access HTML pages as
stationery les. CyberStudio also allows users to save elements on a
user-defined palette. Users can control how the folder structure when
