Nodester first got national attention when it was included in Guy
Kawasaki's address during the keynotes at Macworld(TM) Expo Boston in
August of 1997 as one of his picks for the ten most exciting new Macintosh
applications for 1997. Since then it has gained notoriety from most of the
world's Macintosh press and has been deemed outstanding in many comparative
product reviews as well. Widgetizer is the innovative rapid object editor
for QuickTime VR. With features such as definable hot spots, custom
backgrounds, frame-based animation and sound integration, Widgetizer
provides the most comprehensive object creation tool set on the market. For
those users who want to get the best of both sides of QuickTime VR,
Nodester and Widgetizer are available together in one package, the Nodester
and Widgetizer Duet 1.0.

Nodester 1.5 - System Requirements
----------------------------------
Macintosh or Power Macintosh
(68030 processor or better)
System 7.5 or later
17.5MB available RAM
2MB hard disk space
QuickTime 2.5 or later
QuickTime VR 2.0 or later

Apple Computer, Inc. developed QuickTime VR and has vigorously supported
its adoption as an industry standard. With Apple's recent release of
QuickTime 3.0, QuickTime VR v2.1 and streaming QuickTime Plug-In v2.0, that
standard has been achieved. QuickTime VR is an extension of Apple's basic
QuickTime technology and supports two different types of views, QTVR
panorama movies and QTVR object movies. Panoramic editors, like Nodester,
produce movies which look out from a center or nodal point, allowing the
viewer to to simulate turning and viewing 360 degrees around a panoramic
scene. Widgetizer, a rapid object editor, generates object movies which
look in at a center point or plane, simulating the effect of holding an
object in the hand and turning it around to see all sides, top and bottom.
QuickTime VR is an innovative enabling technology for electronic commerce.
Usually implemented as a photo-realistic or 3D rendered virtual reality,
QTVR is finding its way into markets such as product catalogs, real estate,
museums, education, automotive and travel industries, etc.

Roundabout Logic, Inc. is a Florida corporation, committed to the
advancement of QuickTime VR technology through the ongoing development of
Nodester and Widgetizer, as well as future companion products. Roundabout
Logic, Inc. is the official publisher of the well-known QuickTime VR tools,
Nodester and Widgetizer, and the new Nodester & Widgetizer Duet. These
Macintosh-only applications, formerly published by Panimation, Inc., are
available from Roundabout Logic, Inc. of Winter Springs, Florida, as of May
26, 1998.

Interest by the Press in reviewing Nodester 1.5 and Widgetizer 1.0, as well
as the Nodester & Widgetizer Duet 1.0, and inclusion of the products in
relative articles and features are encouraged. We invite you to contact
Walter Neals at walter@roundaboutlogic.com or (407)327-4500.
