MINDVISION SHIPS MINDEXPANDER 1.0 FOR MACINTOSH AND WINDOWS
The simply powerful file expander
MindVision Software today ships MindExpander 1.0, a FREE application that
automatically expands compressed files in any of the following popular
formats - .sit, .sea, .zip, .bin and .hqx.
The first in a new family of small, easy-to-use consumer utilities,
MindExpander offers a simple solution to a common task. People will get
results without having to learn complicated software.

MindExpander for Macintosh shipped in preview form earlier this year. Since
then, MindVision added Zip support and created the all-new MindExpander for
Windows. Both versions are FREE and available for downloading at
http://www.mindvision.com/Consumer.
Anyone who downloaded a preview version can easily update by running
MindExpander and choosing "Check for Update..." from MindExpander's
"Special" menu.
Nothing is smaller, nothing is faster, and nothing is simpler than
MindExpander. With MindExpander, users get expanded files sooner and with
fewer hassles.
MindExpander works well with web browsers, and adds a contextual menu
"Expand" item in the Finder.
Designed to be a "one-stop shop" for file expansion, MindExpander will
expand nearly all compressed or encoded files. In fact, it's the first
product from an outside vendor to support standard StuffIt compression
formats (.sit and .sea). And for the files it doesn't support, MindExpander
will automatically use any available installed programs that do support
those files.
