Mainstay Releases JustAddress Book(tm)
Personal, Web-Based Address Book Java Applet

Spring Internet World, Los Angeles, CA, April 14, 1999-Mainstay today
began shipping JustAddress Book(tm), a personal web-based address
book which is accessible anytime, anywhere, using only a web browser.
JustAddress Book gives browser-based web access to a single,
full-featured address book of important contacts. It eliminates the
need to maintain multiple address books, often with out of date, or
out of sync information. JustAddress Book gives anyone the power of a
full-featured address book application in any web page, without
requiring any server-side applications. JustAddress Book, a Java
applet, is compatible with both Microsoft Internet Explorer(tm) and
Netscape Navigator(tm), v 4.0 or later.

JustAddress Book is a Java applet which is easily added to any web
page on a user's web site. A user then points their browser to the
JustAddress Book page, and chooses between the read-only "Guest Mode"
or the full read/write/edit "User Mode". If Guest Mode is selected, a
user simply clicks the "Login" button for read-only access. The
Address Browser Window opens in a separate window with a display
similar to that of popular email address book applications.

Individual address records are displayed by double-clicking any
address line in the Address Browser Window. A total of 34 unique data
fields contain such information as first name, last name, nickname,
multiple email addresses, multiple phone numbers, etc. Six of the 34
data fields can be customized by the user. A clairvoyant search
feature makes it easy to find an address record in a large list.
JustAddress Book works on any website that has an FTP server running
at the same IP address as the HTTP server, and requires no
server-side applications, scripts, CGIs, or plug-ins.

JustAddress Book also works directly with the newest version of
Mainstay's JustMail, a private, web-based email client applet. When
JustAddress Book is installed on the same website as JustMail,
addresses found in JustAddress Book are automatically recalled and
entered in the address fields of JustMail using the same clairvoyant
technology found in JustAddress Book's search feature.

JustAddress Book is ideal for a person who travels and for anyone who
uses more than one computer. Additionally, JustAddress Book can be
used to give a group of users shared access to a master address book
with controlled editing security. The JustAddress Book applet is fast
and responsive at only 27 KB in size and downloads quickly, even on
relatively slow modems. JustAddress Book works with Windows 95/98/NT,
Macintosh and Unix.

JustAddress Book is available in a free, fully functional but limited
address count, promotional version. This free, promotional version is
available from www.mstay.com and most popular download sites.

The commercial version of JustAddress Book is available for $39.95,
single user, and $495 for small business or educational website
licenses. A multi-site, commercial license is also available for ISPs
and larger corporations. JustMail can be purchased, with immediate
electronic delivery, at: www.mstay.com. For more information contact
Lance Merker by calling (805) 484-9400, or by email at lance@mstay.com
