[NPL] iSee-U2 Video-Conferencing

For Immediate Release

Global Communications are now Free, Live, and On-Demand

Huntington Beach, CA (December 20, 1999) - Imagine clicking a button and
instantly being connected live over the internet for FREE to anyone you
wish through high-speed broadband, secure connections. No more telephone
charges, no more dropped or slow dial up internet connections. Our vision
has been to unite the world live over the internet and this is our first
step. We created a communications solution that will satisfy both the
individual and the corporate user, said Lazaros Bountour, CEO of Ariston
Technologies, a Huntington Beach based high-tech company focused on USB and
FireWire video-conferencing and multimedia solutions.

An all in one solution, Aristons iSee-U2 consists of two high quality,
color, digital video cameras, two microphones, Aristons Privateline
communications software for Windows 98, White Pines CU-SeeMe communications
software for MacOS 8.6, plus free DSL set up.

Aristons video conferencing cameras provide 30 frames per second (fps) at
160 x 120 resolution and 22fps at 320 x 240, with maximum resolution of 640
x 480. Top quality lenses and color sensors provide clear, high quality
images at all resolutions. Aristons PrivateLine bundled communications
software allows Windows 98 users to create a secure, point-to-point
video-conferencing session on demand with one or more people regardless of
geographic location as long as all parties have internet connections.
Secure and private chat room, white board, full featured e-mail program,
remote launching and Pentagon level encryption code allow for high level
secure communications. But there is even more! ClearPhone and CU-SeeMe
allow Mac users to have similar video-conferencing capabilities. Quick
Editor allows all users to edit their video and create movie clips.
Q-Researchs software enhances still pictures intuitively, and Adobes
PhotoDeluxe lets you create photo albums, calendars, and much more.

The hardware and the software is the major part of the solution and will
work fine with a 28.8K modem and a dial up connection. Broadband adds the
extra ingredient that makes the entire video-conferencing experience what
it is intended to be, said Bountour. DSLs characteristics of high-speed,
dedicated, high security bandwidth is preferable over cables open-network
structure that renders itself to unreliable security and speeds. Aristons
free DSL set up offer is on select plans in the US market that usually
require a one-year minimum subscription. The free set up includes telephone
line configuration and a DSL modem or router. Subscription plans can start
as low as $49.95 per month. Ariston is working with foreign telephone
companies to provide similar service in its foreign markets.

This is an incredible bundle and an unbelievable value, said Bountour. We
wanted to provide a total solution with infinite applications all in one
box, and make it affordable for everyone. The individual cost for all these
items is well over $1,000. When we told people that they could get all this
in a nice retail package for $99.00 they did not believe us. We tried to
address all the requirements of high quality video-conferencing and we feel
that with iSee-U2 we have done that successfully.

The release of the iSee-U2 video-conferencing kit is just in time for the
holidays and brings you a radically new experience in communications. It
started to ship this week and is available through mail order catalogues,
retail outlets and Aristons web-site at
(http://www.ariston.com/)www.ariston.com. It is distributed in the U.S. by
Pinacor and Ingram and by local distributors in over 40 foreign countries.
