ROCKSTAR STUDIOS SHIPS THE INTERNET SETUP MONKEY 3.0

- Admin Kit for ISPs and enterprise service providers delivers remote
software installation, Internet configuration and service sign-up through a
distributable Internet Access Kit -

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., MAY 26, 1998 -- Rockstar Studios Inc., developers of
Internet access utilities including FreePPP and GearBox, has begun shipping
the Internet Setup Monkey 3.0 for Macintosh. The Internet Setup Monkey
Admin Kit ("ISMAK") allows Internet Service Providers and enterprise
network administrators to build custom Internet access kits for
users--providing software installation, system and application
configuration, and new user registration sign-up capabilities in a
distributable access kit. A demo version is available at
http://www.rockstar.com along with license pricing.

The most notable addition to version 3.0 is the option for Internet Service
Providers to build a registration client to include within the access kit.
The online-based registration process provides the opportunity for
commercial providers to bulk supply access kits to gain potential users,
without the hands-on sign-up support typically required by customer
service.

Other significant changes include a new interface for the Admin Kit, which
has been re-designed from the ground up for greater ease-of-use. Previous
plug-in configuration options ("ISM Extras") have since been incorporated
into the Admin Kit. And support for multiple data files allows
administrators to design access kits for any variety of connection types
they wish to maintain to support clients.

"With ISM 3.0, commercial and corporate Internet Service Providers have a
total solution to effortlessly sign up new customers to the service,"
comments Brian Chen, Rockstar Studios. "The administrator can remotely
install Internet applications, configure the software and the system, and
allow the user to sign on to the service automatically. Add to this the
ability to personalize the Access Kit to reflect the service's branding and
you have a complete package for seamlessly adding users to a unique
service, without the usual costs due to time-intensive technical assistance
and customer service."

Fueling interest for the ISMAK, a survey commissioned by Rockstar Studios
of service provider customers found technical support savings averaging 62%
when using the ISM Admin Kit. The most significant expense for accounts is
primarily from initial setup and configuration of the remote
computer--usually from costly phone support required to get the user's
computer configured properly. Further survey details are available by
contacting the Company (415.242.1984; www.rockstar.com).

Demos, Pricing and Availability

A demo version is available from Rockstar Studios' website
(www.rockstar.com) and ISM 3.0 may be purchased direct from the Company
(415.242.1984). Licenses for ISM 3.0 start at US$350 to build 200 Access
Kits distributed annually and continues to $8500 for unlimited annual
distribution.
