Intergraph Computer Systems Ships New Hardware Systems with Latest Intel
Pentium II 450 MHz Processor

HUNTSVILLE, AL, August 24, 1998 -- Intergraph Computer Systems today
announced that its graphics workstations, PCs, and workgroup and
departmental servers now incorporate Intel's new 450 MHz Pentium(r) II
processor, the fastest Pentium II processor available today. The new
Windows and Windows NT-based systems are available immediately and offer
ultimate performance at competitive price points for all segments of
Intergraph's product line, which includes award-winning TDZ(tm) 2000 ViZual
Workstations, affordable TD(tm) professional PCs, and robust InterServe(tm)
servers for workgroup and departmental deployment. Prices start at $2830
for the new TDZ 2000 ViZual Workstations, $2330 for TD-PCs, and $3670 for
InterServe servers. The new 450 MHz processors, combined with Intergraph's
value-added engineering and a range of 2D and 3D graphics options, deliver
application performance gains of more than 10% over previous generation
Intel processors. This performance, along with Intergraph's unmatched
combination of reliability and affordability, has made Intergraph Computer
Systems the vendor of choice for technical and creative professionals in
the fields of animation, MCAD, traditional CAD, digital content creation,
prepress and publishing, and visual simulation. In addition, Intergraph's
systems are ideal for enterprise solutions ranging from internet/intranet

continue to lead the industry in price/performance, with prices starting at
only $2830. Additionally, users can extend their performance advantage
through the next wave of 3D graphics technology with an upgrade path to
Intergraph's next-generation Intense 3D Wildcat graphics -- offered at
savings up to 100% (see separate release, July 21, 1998).

TD 260 PCs: Intergraph offers a single 450 MHz Pentium II processor in an
affordable, graphics-tuned PC that provides the best out-of-the-box
experience for traditional CAD, graphics design, and new media
applications, with prices starting at only $2330.

InterServe 80 SL and 800 SL servers: The InterServe 80 SL and 800 SL
include a single 450 MHz Pentium II processor that can be upgraded to dual
processors. This processing performance is combined with high-performance
features, expandability, flexibility and high availability for workgroups
and departments. Prices start at only $3670.

resellers. Prices start at $2830 (U.S.) for the new TDZ 2000 ViZual
Workstations, $2330 (U.S.) for TD-PCs, and $3670 (U.S.) for InterServe
