GoLive Systems Announces GoLive CyberStudio 3.1 Professional Edition

New Update Features QuickTime 3.0 Editing, ColorSync for the Web,
Additional JavaScript Actions, and MacOS 8.5 Readiness

New York, NY/Macworld Expo (July 8, 1998) Today, GoLive Systems, Inc.
announced the availability of an updated version of GoLive CyberStudio 3
Professional Edition, the award-winning Web publishing software. Version
3.1 is now available to registered owners of GoLive CyberStudio 3 for free
download from the GoLive Web site at www.golive.com.

GoLive CyberStudio 3 includes everything a Web author needs to design,
produce, and maintain fully-dynamic Web sites. This 3.1 update enhances
GoLive CyberStudio 3 Professional Edition with a wide range of utility
improvements as well as several new features, such as enhanced QuickTime
3.0 editing, ColorSync for the Web, Additional JavaScript Actions,
JavaScript Action Development Kit, and MacOS 8.5 Readiness.

QuickTime 3 editing and ColorSync for the Web support in this 3.1 update to
GoLive CyberStudio make it the first application to provide Web publishers
with easy access to these powerful technologies for Web design."

QuickTime 3.0 Editing

GoLive CyberStudio version 3.1 enables users to view and control QuickTime
media as they layout Web pages, and is the first application to let users
open and edit two new QuickTime attributes: the QuickTime 3.0 HREF track
and assign QuickTime 3.0 video effects to existing movies. ColorSync for
the Web GoLive CyberStudio 3 is one of the first Web authoring applications
to support Apple Computer's ColorSync technology for the Web. Enhanced
JavaScript Actions and Development Kit GoLive CyberStudio version 3.1
includes several new ready-to-use Actions. And with the fully-documented
Actions Development Kit included in Version 3.1, GoLive CyberStudio users
can easily create and share their own libraries of GoLive Actions.

MacOS 8.5 Ready GoLive CyberStudio Version 3.1 includes several features
that make it ready for MacOS 8.5 when it ships later this year.

Other Enhancements A wide variety of enhancements have been made to GoLive
CyberStudio 3 in response to extensive user feedback. Other enhancements
include:

- Menu selectable font sets that carry over between sites,

- Customizable default attributes of tags within the Web database,

- Organization options within the Web database,

- Menu selectable site templates with enhanced preview dialog,

- New file mapping preferences that allows users to launch external
applications, such as image editors,

- Import sites via FTP directly into a GoLive CyberStudio Site folder.

Free Update for GoLive CyberStudio 3 Owners

GoLive CyberStudio Version 3.1 is available for free download to all
registered owners of GoLive CyberStudio 3 Professional Edition. Users can
update electronically from the GoLive Web site www.golive.com. To receive a
new GoLive CyberStudio 3.1 CD, users must pay an additional fee for
shipping and handling. Details for ordering are available from the GoLive
Web site.

Availability, Pricing and Systems Requirements

The MSRP for GoLive CyberStudio 3.1 Professional Edition is $549.00 with a
special introductory price of $299. Updates and full versions are available
now through the GoLive Web site at www.golive.com. Volume purchasers can
benefit from a multiple-user volume discount and educational pricing is
available. A thirty-day tryout version is accessible online or on CD-ROM.
GoLive CyberStudio is distributed to resellers in the U.S., Canada and
Latin America by Ingram Micro, Pinacor (formerly MicroAge), and via
distributors in more than 21 countries worldwide. Educational resellers can
purchase GoLive CyberStudio from Ingram Micro and The Douglas Stewart
Company. Customers can find their nearest reseller by visiting the GoLive
Web site. GoLive CyberStudio requires a Power Mac or 100% compatible clone
running System 8 or later and a minimum of 16 MB free memory (20 MB
preferred).
