ACTIVE CONCEPTS PROVIDES FUNNEL WEB/LOGDOOR INTEGRATION WITH FREE SAMPLE
SCRIPT

-- AppleScript Automates Funnel Web Statistical Analysis From LogDoor
Security Stats, Bundle Pricing Also Extended --

CARLTON, Victoria, Australia, October 14, 1998 -- Active Concepts in
partnership with Open Door Networks Inc. today announced the release of the
Funnel Web/LogDoor Integration Script, and extended the special bundle
pricing announced at Macworld Expo/NY through the end of the year. The
Funnel Web/LogDoor Integration Script creates an automated bridge between
Open Door's LogDoor real-time server monitor and Active Concepts' Funnel
Web graphical analysis software, turning LogDoor's security-oriented log
stats into useful decision making information. The bundle price of $448
represents a saving of $50 off street prices. Registered users of either
product can take advantage of the bundle pricing retroactively. The Funnel
Web/LogDoor Integration Script is absolutely free at
ftp://ftp.activeconcepts.com/ldooras.sit.

"Some people assume that since both products provide statistical data, only
one or the other should be used, but in fact the two products work best
together," said Alan Oppenheimer, president of Open Door Networks. "LogDoor
gives Webmasters real-time statistics and creates site-by-site log files,
which are crucial for monitoring security in real-time. Funnel Web's piece
of the puzzle is taking these stats and analyzing them with incredible
speed and intense detail."

"Funnel Web provides powerful data visualization that's really easy to
use," said Dr. Darren Williams, CEO of Active Concepts. "The statistics
culled through LogDoor provide Funnel Web with an even more robust data set
with which to work. When automated via the LogDoor script, the process
provides people running Web servers automatic, easy-to-read information,
making otherwise uneventful security stats useful in an instant."

Open Door's LogDoor real-time server monitor provides real-time,
multi-domain log stats for monitoring the security of Macintosh Web
servers. Using the Funnel Web/LogDoor Integration Script these files can
then be automatically post-processed by Active Concepts' Funnel Web for
complete graphical analysis of site traffic. The combination automatically
provides decision makers with useful information about their Web site
that's easy to read and understand, such as customer usage patterns,
referral sites, search engine usage and keywords, visitor profiles etc.

Effective through the end of the year, the LogDoor and Funnel Web Bundle is
priced at $448, representing a 10% savings off the street prices. Current
registered owners of LogDoor 2.x can purchase Funnel Web or Funnel Web Pro
for $50 off the street price. Likewise, all registered owners of Funnel Web
1.x or higher can purchase LogDoor for $50 off the street price. Details
are provided on the respective Web pages at
