ACTIVE CONCEPTS' SHIPS FUNNEL WEB 3.5

-- Easy Set-up Wizard, Built-in Log File Viewer and Three New Reports
in Free Update to High-performance Internet Analysis Solution --

CARLTON, Victoria, Australia, July 20, 1999 -- Active Concepts today
announced the release of a Funnel Web 3.5 update. New features
include a set-up wizard and log file viewer for easier Web Site
analysis; referral filtering for independent click-through
verification; three new reports measuring Loyalty, Circulation and
Time Online; and a 100% performance increase in processing the Mean
Path Through Site report. Funnel Web 3.5 is available today for
Windows '95, Windows '98, Windows NT and Mac OS at
(http://www.activeconcepts.com/), for US$249/standard and
US$499/professional, with free upgrades from version 3.0. Crossgrades
and educational discounts are also available (see pricing and
availability section below).

"Verifying banner click-throughs, determining loyalty, and generally
measuring the effectiveness of Web sites are becoming more important
in todays' online environment," explained Dr Darren Williams
president of Active Concepts. "This latest upgrade significantly
increases the depth of analysis, giving users even greater insight
into what visitors are doing online. We've also made Funnel Web even
easier to use by adding a setup wizard and other time saving
features. This release takes the business of Web site analysis to a
new level."

The new set-up Wizard, guides users through their first report using
a series of simple dialogs where they can choose between three levels
of analysis. New Referral Filtering enables independent verification
of banner click-throughs from other sites and search engines,
particularly useful for determining the effectivness of your online
advertising campaigns. Mean Path Through Site function has also been
updated resulting in a 100% performance increase. Funnel Web 3.5 also
includes a new Transcript Window, which allows users to maintain a
permanent record of Funnel Web's activity in real time.

Funnel Web 3.5 offers three new reporting features: * The Loyalty
report indicates how many times the average client returns to your
Web site;
* The Circulation index demonstrates how often a site is
visited. Since the frequency of visits is related to content this
report gauges the level of interest in your web site.
* The Time Online report measures the mean time spent per visit.
