** Electrifier Pro 2.0 Makes Professional Multimedia Web Design As
Easy as Cut-and-Paste

** Within Minutes, Companies and Sites Such as Reebok, Suzuki, and
Starnetwork.com Can Turn Static Marcom and Training Literature, Audio
and Video into Highly Interactive Multimedia Sites

SAN DIEGO, CA--January 18, 1999--Electrifier, Inc. today introduced
an eye-popping new software product that instantly turns static Web
sites and marketing materials into dazzling traffic-building
Web-based multimedia sites that incorporate text, images, virtual
reality panoramas, animation, audio, and video. The product was
unveiled at David Coursey's Showcase '99,
sponsored by Upside Magazine, now being held in San Diego, January 17-19, 1999.

Electrifier(R) Pro 2.0 allows even novice Web site creators to create
highly sophisticated multimedia-rich sites in minutes. While other
technologies take days--even months--to produce multimedia sites,
Electrifier Pro allows users to instantly upgrade Web site text and
images to rich media content, making the process as easy as cutting
and pasting new text or adding simple graphics. The high-quality
multimedia content rivals custom-developed rich media solutions,
while presenting the multimedia in minimized file formats that scale
to any visitor's connection
speed. (See "About Electrifier Pro 2.0" below)

"By using Electrifier Pro's interactive capabilities, we've been able
to greatly enhance the Web showroom for Suzuki's new V6 Grand Vitara,
our most
important sport-utility vehicle," said Lore McKenna, National
Advertising Manager, American Suzuki Motor Company. "We're putting
potential customers right into the driver's seat with cutting-edge
multimedia that can now be created with maximum time- and
cost-effectiveness." Added Mike Cline, Managing Director of Matrix
Consultants, the interactive agency in charge of transforming the
Suzuki site: "Electrifier Pro made it possible for us to deliver an
exceptional new marketing tool. Suzuki benefits from an interactive
viewer experience which makes Web marketing more compelling as well
as more accessible."

Several companies and Web sites announced today that they are using
Electrifier Pro to create the next generation of Web presence. "As a
consumer products company, Reebok faces the challenge of how to build
its brand and deliver effective marketing campaigns on CD-ROM and the
Web. For the first time, Electrifier Pro allows the combination of
TV-style media and virtual reality elements in a highly interactive
sales presentation. Customers and retailers can now experience the
richness of the product and the brand directly from their computers,"
said Jim Baker, a producer of Reebok's interactive content and
Managing Director, studiosource/21st Century Media.

As opposed to conventionally-produced multimedia sites, viewers can
seamlessly experience the full richness of Electrifier-produced sites
without having to download multiple plug-ins. "Since most of our
viewers are kids, we want them to experience our site without any
hang-ups. Electrifier Pro will let them access most of our multimedia
immediately," said Botticelli Interactive's Michael Roper, Executive
Producer for Starnetwork.com, a new educational website, developed as
a research project
for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

** Electrifier Pro Helps Companies Make--And Save!--Money on the Web

Electrifier Pro 2.0 helps company web sites pay their own way by
creating new commerce opportunities as well as saving money:

* Make money by creating--in minutes--rich media sites that offer
highly-graphic, interactive information that attracts visitors. Now,
companies--even those without any multimedia experience--can join
static text and images with such previously-discrete elements as
videos of products in use, audio customer testimonials or virtual
reality walkthrough
tours.

* Save money by easily re-purposing marketing and training communications
materials, from corporate brochures to training videos. Online
brochures can be made interactive, incorporating streaming audio and
video, allowing customers to see the product in use, or just-in-time
training videos can pop up within the context of an employee benefits
page on a corporate intranet.

* Save money by using lower-cost--even novice--Web developers or
webmasters to create rich media in minutes, not hours.

** About Electrifier Pro 2.0

Electrifier Pro 2.0 multimedia Web authoring software provides
superior rich media quality while minimizing file sizes. It supports
all types of multimedia content, and delivers industry-standard
QuickTime consistently on either Netscape Navigator or Microsoft
Internet Explorer at any connection speed, from 28.8K modems to
broadband. Available for the Macintosh and Windows 95/98/NT,
Electrifier Pro can:

* Create real-time streaming multimedia suitable for any connection
speed, from 28.8K to cable modems. Flexible compression easily
produces streaming multimedia in minimized file sizes, utilizing the
most advanced compression available such as Sorenson Video, Intel
Indeo, Qualcomm PureVoice and QDesign Music.

* Develop complex animations and interactivity in seconds.
Drag-and-drop authoring allows modifiable actions and effects,
accurate to 1/1000th of a second, to be applied to any element,
eliminating the need for tedious frame-by-frame construction. Include
URL hotspots, highlighting, and volume
or playback controls. Creations can also be instantly previewed and
edited without exporting.

* Use any rich media content, such as vector and bitmap animation,
digitized audio, synthesized music (MIDI), video, 3-D, VR panoramas,
No-Bandwidth0/00 media like fire, clouds and ripples, and over 150
special effects such as emboss, fade, fire and ripples.

* Seamlessly integrate with existing content and all authoring tools such
as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, Adobe PageMill,
Microsoft FrontPage, NetObjects Fusion, Macromedia Dreamweaver and
Macromedia Director.

* Output creations as industry-standard QuickTime or animated GIFs
for consistent playback on either Navigator or Internet Explorer
without requiring a special server. Content can be easily deployed on
intranets and
CD-ROMs without reauthoring.
