CLAIRVOYANT SOFTWARE DELIVERS JUST-IN-TIME SOLUTIONS
TO INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER'S NETWORK RESOURCE DEPLOYMENT

Products Will be the First Providing ISPs with Timely Scheduling and
Ordering of Network Resource Expansion to Improve Customer Satisfaction,
Financial Planning and Cash Flow

Sunnyvale, CA - March 8, 1999 - Clairvoyant Software, Inc., today
announced its establishment as a provider of dedicated software products
that enhance ISP's business success.

The company will soon introduce products that solve the ISP's toughest
Business question: "where, when and, and how to optimally add resources
that prevent catastrophic reductions in performance and accessibility."
Clairvoyant's solution assures an ISP the ideal blend of performance and
cost-effectiveness to network resource deployment and profit management.

The Market According to Infonetics Research, the 5,000+ ISPs are growing
their points of presence (POPs) by 80 percent per year. Faced with such
explosive growth, Knowing when and where to deploy capacity is a
critical problem. Purchasing excess capital equipment (routers,
switches, servers) or bandwidth cripples cash flow and profits. But not
having adequate capacity leads to crisis-purchasing of equipment,
bandwidth and services that often have 8-week delivery schedules. When
poor performance is crippling a customer's e-commerce site, a two month
delay for additional capacity represents a severe service gap. This is
the management problem currently facing all ISPs and the market
opportunity addressed by Clairvoyant Software.

"Our solution will for the first time let ISPs anticipate their computer
network's capacity," said Greg Hampton, Clairvoyant president. "We will
be the only supplier allowing ISPs to effectively predict when and where
to deploy networking resources. Our mission is to capture the market by
delivering the most accurate and timely network resource allocation
applications for companies whose network performance directly affects
its business value and growth."

Clairvoyant Software gives ISPs a clear understanding of when and where
system capacity will be needed. The company has developed forthcoming
products that will allow its customers to achieve cost-effective and
scalable network resource management. Our emphasis is the development of
applications using "just-in-time" philosophies that show "when and
where" to purchase and deploy network resources. These powerful
solutions will allow Clairvoyant's customers to increase cash flow,
retain satisfied customers, improve the success of marketing programs,
and ultimately grow revenues and market share.

Management Team Core management and team is composed of co-founders
Gregory Hampton, President and CEO, and Druce MacFarlane, vp engineering
and CTO joined by Honor Huntington, CFO and vp finance and Stewart Fox,
vp sales. They have developed and sold network management technology
for the past 15 years.

Mr. Hampton most recently served as the Director of Marketing for the
WAN Business Unit of Network General where he oversaw the release of
internetworking products. Mr. MacFarlane highly experienced in
communications internetworking, most recently held the post of chief
wide area network technologist at Network General Corporation. Ms.
Huntington previously served as CFO, vp finance and administration, at
NetManage, Inc. Mr. Fox was vp channel sales and marketing also at
Network General where he developed indirect sales totaling over $120
million. All bring in-depth technology and business experience in the
computer networking industry.
