BrainForest(tm) Professional For Macintosh and Palm Computing(r)
Platform Devices Released

First Third-party Application to Migrate from Palm Devices to the
Desktop BrainForest Mobile Edition 2.1 Also Released

(Portland, OR) January 19, 1999 - Aportis Technologies Corp. today
announced release of BrainForest(tm) Professional 1.0 for
Macintosh(tm) and Palm Computing(r) platform devices. BrainForest is
a comprehensive action item organizer, idea tracker, project planner
and checklist manager. It is a hierarchical outlining tool that uses
an intuitive Trees, Branches & Leaves analogy that allows complete
customization of how data is viewed. BrainForest Professional files
can be used on any desktop computer or Palm Computing platform
device. Also included is a comprehensive User's Guide with a
QuickStart tutorial. Availability is immediate as an electronic
download commercial product through Aportis' web site,
http://www.aportis.com, for US$39.95. Registered users of BrainForest
Mobile Edition may upgrade for $9.95. BrainForest Professional for
Macintosh can be used on any Macintosh running System 7.1 or greater.
A Windows version is in testing.

BrainForest Professional is unique in that it is the first third
party application to migrate from Palm Computing platform devices
(like the PalmPilot and Palm III) to the desktop. The desktop program
mimics the Palm version, and includes printing, as well as expanded
import/export functions, so data can easily be exchanged with most
other desktop applications.

Information in BrainForest can be sorted in several, flexible ways.
BrainForest keeps track of Teams and Projects, allowing the entry of
project start date, end date, and recurring information, so that any
project can be kept under control. Dates and milestones can be
reordered. Data can be imported and exported in various file formats
including CSV (Comma Separated Values), HTML, and as plain text.

David Schargel, President of Aportis Technologies said, "It is
refreshing to produce a desktop program that is not 'bloatware'.
BrainForest Professional provides simple, yet powerful, outlining and
organizational capabilities. It can even be used a stand-alone
desktop application, since having a Palm Computing device is not a
requirement."

BrainForest Mobile Edition 2.1 Also Released Aportis also announced
that BrainForest Mobile Edition 2.1 for Palm Computing platform
devices is now available. This maintenance fixes known problems. The
User's Guide has had a QuickStart tutorial added. BrainForest Mobile
Edition 2.1 does not expire, has no functional limitations, and
requires registration, which can be done via the Aportis web site,
http://www.aportis.com , via email, telephone or fax. BrainForest
Mobile Edition 2.1 is a shareware product which costs US$30.00, and
is available immediately. Registered users may update at no charge.
