[NPL] BeatWare-E-motion

BeatWare announced ePicture, their web animation and graphics software
tool, this past July at Macworld (Mac OS only), and as a result won
MacWorld's Best of Show for graphics. They beat out Adobe and
Macromedia...that says quite a lot.

Well now, BeatWare plans on doing it again, this time at MacWorld Expo in
San Francisco. But to get the news out there, we are going to give advanced
briefings before and at Builder.com in New Orleans. The new ePicture will
contain all the old capabilities and incorporate tons of new functions and
will also now work on another popular OS besides the Mac. We strongly
believe that BeatWare has come up with one of the most innovative and
powerful graphics tools on the market today-definitely at this low price
point. So let's set up a time for you to talk to BeatWare's executives.
Would Deceber 6th or 7th work for you at 10:00am? Let me know.

If you are going to be attending the Builder.com show, let me know and we
can set up a time for you to meet at the booth. You will not want to miss
this!!

More on e-Picture:

Major benefits

* With e-Picture, BeatWare has achieved something other companies
have failed to accomplish-- the seamless integration of bitmaps and
vectors. e-Picture's breakthrough technology enables graphic artists
experience the combined advantages of both vectors and bitmaps, so original
animations have the editable properties of vectors and the photographic
properties of bitmaps simultaneously.

* Each element of an e-Picture animation is a stand-alone object
which can be edited independently. Instead of having to re-create a graphic
again and go through the importation process to accommodate changes,
e-Picture graphics can be updated within e-Picture regardless of any
applied graphic effects because each object can be accessed independent of
the rest of the graphic, a first in the industry.

* e-Picture makes the animation process itself also easy due to its
single layer approach. e-Picture breaks through this design barrier by
creating movement sequences all on a single layer, making it easy to make
movement changes. This is a huge advantage over the traditional method that
requires each layer to be completely re-created to accommodate even the
smallest of changes. e-Picture simplifies and streamlines this process,
letting designers create-as-they-animate, a major innovation in animation
design.

* e-Picture also empowers designers to quickly and intuitively create
animations from just two original frames. By simply noting an object 's
initial and final positions, e-Picture can automatically generate the
number of intermediate frames needed to create the movement wanted.

Another benefit offered by e-Picture is the ability to automatically
generate JavaScript in order to create interactive web buttons. Before
e-Picture, designers had to create multiple states for each button, and
hand write the JavaScript code to produce the interactivity. With
e-Picture, designers need only create one button, apply a style to the
button, and drop the automatically generated code right into their HTML
script, creating an interactive web page in a fraction of the time
