Power On Puts Schedules and Contacts in the Palms of Users' Hands

Macworld Expo Release of Now Up-to-Date & Contact Enhances
Scheduling Options and Support for Handheld Devices

Columbus, Ohio - July 17, 2000 - Power On Software announced today that it
would introduce an upgrade to Now Up-to-Date & Contact at Macworld Expo
this week. Version 3.9.2 of the all-time best-selling contact manager and
calendaring software for the Macintosh will provide increased connectivity
capabilities. It adds a number of enhancements in its support for handheld
computers based upon the Palm Computing Operating System. In furthering its
leadership position as the most elegant and seamless solution for
portability of schedules and contacts, Power On has satisfied user requests
for better organizational capabilities.

Features of New Version

The new version of Now Up-to-Date & Contact provides the following new
functionality:

* Users now have the option to synchronize, to their Palm or Visor, only
those events that block free time, eliminating the need to clutter their
handheld computer with unnecessary events
* Enhanced field mapping for synchronization of phone and custom fields,
using Power On's exclusive Intelligent Mapping technology
* Color and font support has been added for users of DateBk4, making Now
Up-to-Date & Contact one of the first applications to substantially
leverage the color capabilities of the Palm IIIc
* Added visual cues, in the conduit synchronization window, that display
the name of the calendar and contact files to be synchronized, thereby
adding greater accuracy in selecting files and ensuring reliabiilty of
data.
