New WebAssist Monthly Subscription Model for eCarts

New WebAssist Monthly Subscription Model for eCarts Eases Ecommerce
Implementations for Small Business, Supports PayPal Website Payments
Pro

New version of eCart makes it easy and affordable for small
businesses and Web professionals to build custom and streamlined
shopping experience

Encinitas, CA (PRWEB) September 27, 2006 --WebAssist today announced
the release of their latest version of eCart, the premier eCommerce
extension for Adobe Dreamweaver, with support for Website Payments
Pro from PayPal. Website Payments Pro makes it possible for online
shoppers to enjoy a streamlined, professional shopping
experience--and now eCart makes Website Payments Pro point-and-click
easy to implement. The new version supplements eCart's long-standing
support of PayPal's Website Payments Standard and together provides
the complete PayPal shopping cart solution.

Based on customer demand, WebAssist also announced the availability
of eCart through a low-cost subscription model. Customers can
purchase an eCart subscription for a monthly fee of $19.99 plus a
one-time activation fee of $19.99. Subscriptions may be cancelled at
any time. Small business owners and Web professionals can build as
many stores as they like with eCart at no additional cost under
either the subscription or the standard licensed plan. Further
details can be found at (http://www.webassist.com/go/ecart).

eCart gives Dreamweaver users the power to build eCommerce-powered
sites with complete customizability and powerful functionality. Small
business owners and Web professionals around the world use eCart to
create their superior e-commerce experiences. When combined with the
recently released Digital File Pro from WebAssist, eCart can be used
to deliver digital goods -- like photographs, music, documents and
software -- directly to the shopper's computer, removing the need for
third parties to host and distribute this content. eCart works with
Dreamweaver 8, Dreamweaver MX 2004 and Dreamweaver MX for dynamic
sites built with ASP-VBScript, ASP-JavaScript, ColdFusion and PHP.
Example sites can be seen at
(http://www.webassist.com/professional/community/success.asp).

"We're happy to make it even easier for WebAssist merchants to add
PayPal Website Payments Pro and PayPal Website Payments Standard to
their e-commerce sites," said Gene Alston, Director of Channels and
Business Development for PayPal. "PayPal's payment solutions give
customers more choice in how they pay for items online -- whether
with their credit cards directly on the merchant site, or with their
PayPal accounts. Now merchants can offer customers this functionality
through the eCart supported gateways."

Hieu Bui, WebAssist Vice President of Business Development said,
"PayPal really hit the ball out of the park with Website Payments Pro
and we're proud to include this functionality in the latest release
of eCart. Now, online merchants can easily offer their customers
secure transactions through PayPal while benefiting from the lower
merchant rates." Bui also pointed out that eCart's implementation is
very straightforward and requires no coding whatsoever.

The latest version of eCart is now available as a free upgrade for
existing customers. The extension normally retails for $249.99 but is
available for $199.99 until October 10, 2006; by subscription, eCart
is available for a monthly fee of $19.99 and a one-time activation
fee of $19.99. eCart is also available as part of the best-selling
bundle, eCommerce Suite on sale for $319.99 (normally $399.99) during
this same period.
