WebCommerce Solution(tm) - Release 2.0
Introducing WebDNA(tm) technology

Pacific Coast Software's WebCommerce Solution, the first commercially
available commerce package for Macintosh, is entering a new era. With
Release 2.0 of the product, the strong turn-key foundation that allowed any
Webmaster to quickly establish an online storefront has been radically
built up to become one of the most flexible and powerful Web server
additions available.

WebCommerce Solution Release 2.0 uses Pacific Coast Software's new WebDNA
technology. WebDNA (which stands for Dynamic Naming Architecture) provides
the Webmaster with the building blocks to create a Web site that is truly
alive. The language combines the power of scripting with the familiarity of
HTML. WebDNA means that a site created with WebCommerce Solution Release
2.0 can grow from a simple part-time storefront to a muti-million dollar
shopping center without problems.

ClubMac, ClubPC, and ClubPDA , some of the premiere mail order catalog
companies for computer hardware and software use WebCommerce Release 2.0:

"WebCommerce Solution 2.0 is great! It's fast, easy to use, inexpensive and
extremely powerful. Our online catalog has thousands of products, credit card
ordering and verification and four different databases all working together.
WebCommerce Solution has saved us a substantial amount of money."
-Lee Greene
Webmaster, ClubMac, ClubPC, ClubPDA (http://www.club-mac.com)

Dean Smith of Antioch University in Seattle, sums up the importance of the
new technology:

"Personally, I think this is one of the more powerful ideas that have come
along in the past 5 years. I'd put it right up there with HTML and packet
switching. I am using it for both commercial sites and teaching sites."
-Dean Smith
Antioch University, Seattle/Digital Marketing Alliance

Pacific Coast Software brings high powered commerce capabilities to people
looking for an affordable solution. Unlike competing products, WebCommerce
Solution Release 2.0 supports an unlimited number of shoppers and does not
require a dedicated server. The product is built to be fast. In fact, its
underlying database technology, WebCatalog(tm), is purpose-built for the
Web and is the fastest available. This allows Web servers running MacOS or
Windows NT to out-perform similar sites costing much more.

WebCommerce Solution Release 2.0 can easily serve multiple databases. This
allows you to link them together in a complex relational manner or create
many independent storefronts. Sales tax, shipping and handling are all
effortlessly performed by linking together separate databases of
information. HTML template files, with embedded WebDNA commands, are used
to display information and dynamically create pages. Rather than
maintaining hundreds of files, with WebCommerce Solution Release 2.0 you
update a handful of templates that the product uses to create pages
dynamically for visitors at your site. You can even send e-mail or write
order files to a secure server.

As with the previous version, WebCommerce Solution Release 2.0 is a
complete turnkey system that can be used to establish a completely
automated commerce server. Credit card verification and electronic delivery
of product are features that enable the Web site to work for you, not the
other way around.

Information on WebCommerce Solution Release 2.0, as well as Pacific Coast
Software's other products, can be found on our Web site at
http://www.pacific-coast.com. WebCommerce Solution Release 2.0 will be
available in March, 1997 for both Macintosh and Windows NT Web servers.
