Valentina Web Competitive Upgrade for FileMaker Pro Owners

Software today announced limited time, two week competitive upgrade offers
for FileMaker Pro users, allowing them to purchase the fast, MacOS based
Valentina 1.5, and Vampire Software's OpenForm plug-in for web servers, for
$49.

Valentina 1.5 is a powerful, 'object-relational' database application which
allows scripters to create and automate databases using Apple Computer's
system level scripting technology, AppleScript. Valentina 1.5 incorporates
a visual database browser for easy creation of object-oriented databases.
Valentina 1.5 allows use of scripts which embed SQL syntax.

Valentina 1.5 is one member of the Valentina product family, based on the
powerful Valentina database kernel. Paradigma also sells developer kits
allowing the creation of database-oriented applications, including a C++
cross-platform SDK, and Valentina for REALbasic, for use with REAL
Software's rapid application development tool. Valentina for Macromedia
Director is also under development.

On a separate, complimentary offer Vampire Software announced a $20
discount off of their OpenForm web server plug-in, which also allows
on-the-fly execution any AppleScript script inserted in a web page.
OpenForm works with any web server that can use Starnine WebStar compatible
plug-ins.

Users of FileMaker Pro version 3 or higher can get up to $20 off the
regular price of Valentina 1.5, and up to $20 off the regular price of
OpenForm. To qualify, users need to mail proof of ownership of FileMaker
Pro to: Proactive International, LLC, FM Upgrade Offer, 6107 SW Murray
Blvd, #151, Beaverton, Oregon, 97008. Orders must be placed before November
4, 1999. Proof of ownership must be postmarked before November 4, 1999.
