FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dearborn, MI -- Developers have been lining up to attend the MacHack
developers conference for weeks. Now, though, a secure internet
provider has stepped into the fray to make registration for the June
23-26 conference easy, quick and online.
"We've been working on this kind of arrangement for while now. It's
certainly one of the most requested website features," said Carol
Lynn, conference manager. "QuickSilver came along at just the right
time."
The new web site uses, of course, secure sockets for conference
registration, making things as safe as possible for conference
attendees using their credit cards. Unlike e-commerce sites, the
MacHack registration is a rapid, streamlined form that minimizes the
hassles usually associated with online purchasing.
"It's simple, we tried to keep the interface to a minimum and
simplify things while maintaining the necessary degree of security.
This is definitely safe and easy," said Anthony Clark, Technical
Director for Quick Silver Interactive Group.
Interested attendees should register early since conference
registration is open to the first 400 attendees and 50 students. To
register online, follow the registration links at
(http://www.machack.com). A confirmation e-mail will be sent right
away and credit card billing will occur shortly thereafter.
QuickSilver Interactive Group is a web hosting provider and public
relations firm with an impressive client list. They offer a full
range of online business and e-commerce solutions, all on a custom
basis, as well as a full range of public relations services from the
traditional to guerrilla marketing techniques. They can be reached
online at (http://www.qsigroup.com/) or by phone at (214) 999-0301.
MacHack is a conference that, in its fourteenth year, remains
centered around cutting edge software development. Each year the
conference brings together well-known names in the software business,
as well as many students and upstarts whose names we'll know soon
enough, and fosters interaction between all of the attendees.
MacHack's uniqueness derives from the informal feel of the conference
and the LIVE coding that occurs around-the-clock during the
conference.
The 1999 MacHack conference will take place June 23-26 in Dearborn,
Michigan. Topics for the 1999 conference include networking, rapid
application and cross platform development.
