InstallerMaker 5.3 now offers full scriptability, easy FAT application
stripping of PowerPC and CFM-68K code, Mac OS 8.5 compatibility, and more.

Increased Scripting Support
InstallerMaker 5.3 now provides full scriptability for all features,
expanding its AppleScript support. Added scripting support includes five
new scripts and nineteen new categories, a few of which include: setting
all InstallerMaker preferences; creating Network Install tasks, Display
Alert tasks via AppleScript; setting all task settings via script; setting
Finder Information Options for installers; and more.
Auto Rename Existing File Condition
Developers can now automatically rename existing items when installing new
files.
Limited Disk Based Searches for Finds
Located in "Warning Dialogs & Miscellaneous" archive options, this setting
saves time by not searching for locked volumes during Finds.
User-selected OS System Version Conditions When selected, all system
conditions applied during installation will be based on the version of the
System on the volume selected by the user, instead of the boot volume.
Other InstallerMaker 5.3 Features
*Supports hierarchical packages and sub-level assignments. *"Network
Install" tasks allow developers to specify an FTP or HTTP site on the
Internet with a path leading to a file to retrieve and install. *Easily
creates custom installers that turn standard software into trialware
without any coding; end-users simply purchase the software with the
click of a button. *StuffIt Engine(tm) support for Internet installers,
enabling them to expand StuffIt (.sit) files, open .zip files, decode
MacBinary and BinHex files.
