Funnel Web Professional
Corporate Level Web Profiling and Internet Tracking

Carlton, Victoria, Australia - March 9th, 1998 - Active Concepts today
announces the release of the first cross platform corporate level web
analysis, profiling and Internet tracking tool for the Macintosh, Windows
95/NT and Unix platforms.

Funnel Web Professional makes it simple for any business to profile web
site usage with the speed, accuracy and ease that Funnel Web is known for.
Designed for large sites Funnel Web Professional can handle high server
loads, up to 20 million hits per log and can provide realtime updates of
server traffic. Ideal for marketing departments targeting their advertising
dollars Funnel Web Professional allows you to identify the origin of each
client, last site visited and the keywords and search engines used to
locate your site on the Internet.

A major feature of Funnel Web Professional is the ability for any
corporation or small business to monitor staff web usage anywhere on the
Internet. Such sophisticated analysis was previously only available on
large, expensive Unix systems. In addition to the powerful web profiling
and analysis available in the standard edition of Funnel Web, this major
new release introduces client session tracking to identify the individual
paths taken by each client. Specifically designed with corporations and
Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in mind, the new virtual engine can
generate mutidomain reports in a single pass based on each host domain or
individual log file.

In addition, Funnel Web Professional provides a host of client/server
statistics to provide detailed analysis of any web site, consisting of over
20 separate reports and individual graphs to assist in data visualisation.
For more sophisticated users Funnel Web also contains full scheduling
facilities to assist in automatic report creation and specific options for
custom filters and date ranges.

Major Features include:
- Web based administration (Unix only)
- Transparent support for any server on any platform
- Point and click processing
- Handles millions of hits effortlessly
- Tracks any client on your network using proxy analysis
- Client session tracking
- Individual web site usage and tracking
- Virtual Domain analysis
- Realtime updating
- Multifile processing
- Full automated scheduling
- Analysis of compressed Gzip archives

System Requirements and Compatibility:
The current release is available for the Macintosh, Windows 95 /NT and
Unix. Versions for Unix, include IRIX, Solaris, Linux and FreeBSD. Versions
for Rhapsody, HP and Digital Unix will be available in the second quarter
of 98. The application requires a minumum of 4MB of RAM.
