Animated Clip-Art Library Released

LAKE ARROWHEAD, CA -- December 10, 1996 (MMG) -- Studio 89
announces the release of its Animated Clip-Art Library, Volume 1, the
first ever collection of GIF89a animations designed specifically for use
on the World Wide Web. Comprised of over 2,100 original animated
GIF images and 1,400 still GIF's, the library promises to add pizzazz
to any web page.

Animated images include bouncing alphabets, spinning bullets and
twinkling stars. Moving arrows direct viewer's attention and animated
buttons make site navigation fun. Uniquely designed marquee sections
make it easy for web authors to surround their own words and images
with moving lights. Animated icons and lines round out the collection.

Effortless navigation is a key feature of the library. All 3,500 images
are organized by category and fully indexed in an easily browsable
format, making it fast work to find any desired GIF.

All images are designed to work individually or together in groups.
This gives common web page elements such as bulleted lists or
navigation button bars a custom-made look. A wide variety of graphic
styles and colors make it simple to match any page design. Nearly all
images have transparent backgrounds and many styles feature soft
drop-shadow versions for use on light-colored web page designs.

According to Jim Olsen, founder of Studio 89 and creator of the
Animated Clip-Art Library, "Each image is designed to have the
smallest possible file size - typically less than 2K. This makes the
animations download really fast."

Images may be inserted into page layouts using drag and drop or
copy and paste methods, as well as hand coding the HTML. The
GIF89a animations have been optimized for viewing on Netscape
Navigator 3.0 and later as well as Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0
and later. No additional software or programming is required.

"With our collection you don't have to become an animation expert
yourself or invest in expensive software," said Olsen. "Even the
novice web author can create a highly animated web page in a
matter of minutes using their existing HTML editor."

The collection includes extensive on-line documentation as well as
page design and HTML examples. Pricing is $49.95 Downloaded
via FTP(Windows 3.1 & 95 version or Mac O/S version); $59.95
CD-ROM (Compatible with all Windows & all Mac O/S systems).

Free samples are available on the Studio 89 web site at
