Tango Enterprise 3.0 Sets Standard for Deploying High-Powered Web Applications

EveryWare Delivers Upgrade to "Best of Breed" Product

Mississauga, Ontario--November 3, 1997--EveryWare Development Inc. (ASE:
EVE) announced today it will release a major upgrade to Tango Enterprise,
EveryWare's visual Web application development tool. Tango Enterprise 3.0
will be released later this month with over 50 new features providing the
Web development community with a cross-platform tool that will increase
productivity, reduce time to deployment, and enable project or team-based
development.

Tango is a powerful Web application development tool that enables
professional Web developers and corporate IS departments to quickly create
complex business applications for the Web. Tango supports direct native
connections, ODBC, and Data Access Language to integrate corporate
databases with Web servers. The open standards approach utilized within
Tango enables Web developers to also integrate existing business
applications written in C/C++ or Java, providing a cross-platform
application server enabling the integration of diverse enterprise systems.

Tango has two components, the Tango Development Studio and the Tango
Application Server. The development studio enables developers to build
Tango application files that are then executed by the Tango Application
Server. The new version of Tango provides the Web application developer
with many new features, including an improved visual development interface
to reduce development time and maintenance costs.

Since Tango first shipped in November of 1995, it has become the standard
Web development environment for over 7,000 Web application developers
worldwide, and has received outstanding recognition from the industry as
the best tool on the market to visually develop data-driven, Web-based
applications. Tango recently won the "Best of Test" award from Internet
World Labs and has been rated above the competition in many of the leading
Web development publications. With version 3.0, Tango increases its
technical lead even further.

"This latest version of Tango shows EveryWare's commitment to the Web
application developer by providing a feature set that will enable those
programmers to build sophisticated Web-based applications," said Michael
Senechal, Tango Product Manager. "Our development team has taken Tango 3.0
to a level beyond other Web application development tools. We have been
able to provide a cross-platform tool for creating enterprise business
applications without compromising our visual programming interface."

Visual Web Development Environment

The unique visual interface of Tango makes it an industry leader in
Web-based development. The visual action metaphor simplifies display while
the standard expandable tree window provides easy navigation through
complex applications enabling developers to easily manipulate the display,
business, and database logic within the Tango application file. This
interface enables Web application developers to build, maintain, and
support Web-based applications faster and with fewer resources than any
other tool on the market.

Project-based Development

New to Tango 3.0 is project development. A project consists of several
application files and allows Web developers in a team environment to
contribute to a development initiative. Tango has new facilities for
commenting applications as well as support for third-party source code
control applications. These features are a necessity for developers
building complex applications as they enable them to have greater control
over inter-related application files.

Transaction Support

EveryWare has added transaction-processing capabilities to Tango Enterprise
3.0, enabling Web developers and IS departments to have greater control
over database instructions. Tango's transaction processing allows for a set
of database actions to be treated as a unit. This means that either all SQL
statements within a transaction are completed or none are completed.
Special icon-based actions within Tango have been added, providing
developers with Begin, Commit, and Rollback transactions. These actions
enable the developer to deploy more complex applications, while staying in
Tango's visual environment.

Server Side Java Integration

EveryWare has extended Tango's Java strategy with the ability to execute
server-side Java. This support enhances the developer's ability to
communicate with other applications written in Java residing on the server
by supporting both Java Classes and Java Beans. Tango will fully support
all of Java's capabilities enabling developers to create more complex
business logic by capitalizing on Java's multi-platform capabilities and
advanced programming features.

Support for JavaScript

Along with the new Java integration, Tango Enterprise 3.0 is now JavaScript
1.2 compatible. This compatibility provides Tango with an industry-standard
scripting environment allowing IS departments and Web developers to create
more sophisticated Web applications. The new Script action provides an
interface for executing JavaScript code at the server level as well as
providing client-side support. By integrating JavaScript within Tango, Web
developers can utilize their existing knowledge of the JavaScript language
without having to rely on, or learn, a new proprietary scripting language.

IS departments and professional Web developers will benefit from Tango's
new features by creating complex Web-based applications ahead of schedule
and under budget. Developers using Tango's enhanced visual programming
interface, project management features, and Java support will quickly
realize the product will better support their needs.

EveryWare has also begun to develop Tango modules that can be added to the
Tango Enterprise development environment for faster solution delivery.
These modules have been developed in Tango and they provide developers who
are looking for vertical Web-based applications with a cost-effective,
faster way to deploy their solutions. EveryWare's first module, Tango
Merchant, is an electronic commerce application. EveryWare will continue to
develop Tango modules for vertical markets over the next year.
