4D Assimilator: Final Version Released

ACI US, Inc., publishers of the 4th Dimension (4D) RAD/RDBMS Environment,
today released a new utility, 4D Assimilator, which clones data structures
and data files from any database supporting ODBC and imports it into a 4D
database.

4D Assimilator is designed for developers who need to migrate existing
projects that were developed with tools and technologies, which are no
longer able to meet their client's needs. 4D Assimilator can connect to any
database supporting ODBC such as FileMaker or Access and replicate both the
tables and data into a 4D database.

"4D Assimilator is a powerful utility which gives developers an easy way of
moving their customers' databases to 4D," shares Brendan Coveney,
President, ACI US. "The ability to selectively clone data is an important
feature when transferring data, and one of the key features that we are
pleased to offer with 4D Assimilator."

4D Assimilator requires 4D Version 6.5 or greater. 4D Assimilator and a
demo of 4D v6.5 can be downloaded from the ACI US web site:
