Kaidan and PictureWorks Announce New Photographic VR Object Solutions
for Consumers

Kaidan and PictureWorks announce the PiXi Photographic VR Object
Starter Kit for E-Commerce and the PiXi Manual Turntable. Consumers
can now easily and affordably create their own QuickTime VR object
movies for use on eBay, Amazon.com and other commercial and personal
web sites.

San Francisco, CA - Macworld Expo - January 5, 2000: The leading
manufacturer of Photographic VR hardware; Kaidan Incorporated,
announced today with PictureWorks Technology, Inc. two new products
targeted at photographic VR object imaging for the Internet. The
Kaidan PiXi Manual Turntable and the PiXi Photographic VR Object
Starter Kit are the ideal ways for consumers to photographically
capture collectibles, products, toys, sculptures and other objects in
a 3-D form. With these new products consumers can quickly and easily
create stunning VR objects for inclusion in documents, e-mail
messages or web pages.

According to Jim Anders, President of Kaidan, "The success of
e-commerce has been startling and amazing. With our new PiXi
solutions, anyone can easily and affordably create 3-D object movies
of their favorite Pokmon characters, Barbie dolls, Hot Wheels cars
or any object they desire. They can post this 3-D image on their
personal web site or use it to showcase and sell their objects on
e-commerce or auction web sites, such eBay or Amazon.com. We've
teamed up with PictureWorks who is the ideal partner for this project
as they have excellent consumer-oriented QuickTime VR object software
as well as software solutions that assist with the management and
posting of images to auction sites."

The PiXi Manual Turntable is 15 inches in diameter and can support
objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The turntable has click-stops every
10 degrees and has index markings for manual positioning in 5 degree
increments. The PiXi Photographic VR Object Starter Kit includes the
PiXi Manual Turntable and PictureWorks Spin PhotoObject software for
both Macintosh and Windows 95/NT.

Ria DiMartino, Sales and Marketing Director for Kaidan states, "We're
so excited about these new products. We gave an advance preview of
the PiXi at the Atlantique City collectible and antique show late in
1999 and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Dealers and
collectors were eager to take advantage of this new technology.
Instead of looking at several static images, they can now manipulate
and visualize the object on their computer as if they were holding it
their hands."

"Kaidan's PiXi Manual Turntable is the perfect compliment to our
Spin PhotoObject software," stated PictureWorks Vice President of
OEM Sales, Lee Cannon. "PictureWorks is very excited to be working
with Kaidan to provide this complete solution that will no doubt
increase the quality and quantity of VR images on the Internet."

Scheduled to ship in February 2000, the PiXi Manual Turntable and
PiXi Photographic VR Object Starter Kit will retail for $149.95 and
$179.95 respectively. Optional software and hardware utilities (such
as object support pedestals) are also available from Kaidan and vary
in price accordingly

The PiXi systems will be available from Kaidan and from all
authorized Kaidan resellers and distributors worldwide.

bundles - bringing new immersive imaging solutions to owners of
Olympus C-2000 zoom/C-2020 zoom and D-500L/D-600L/D-620L filmless
digital cameras.

San Francisco, CA - Macworld Expo - January 5, 2000: The leading

addition per-use image fees.

According to Jim Anders, President of Kaidan, "Immersive panoramic
imaging has reached the consumer and it's now affordable and easy to

a KiWi and QTVR application software, you'll be shooting and creating
panoramas and not spending money in order to create each image."
