MAXUM RELEASES WEBREV 1.0
Live HTML editor makes quick work of Web site updates and corrections.

Crystal Lake, Illinois (May 20, 2004) - Maxum Development is pleased to
announce WebRev, a brand new tool for Web site developers. WebRev is
designed to make minor Web page updates, edits and fixes easier than ever
before, and is offered as a free component of iAssist, Maxum's Internet
server management system.

Any Web author that has ever noticed a typo or wanted to make live edits of
their Web site will appreciate WebRev. Fundamentally, WebRev is a basic Web
browser, based on Apple's WebKit technology, with one important difference:
For Web pages loaded from known servers, the HTML source of the page is
automatically displayed in a standard Mac text edit box. Web site
developers can add to or edit their HTML pages, and save them back to the
server on the fly.

"This is a new tool aimed at anyone who has ever wished their Web browser
had a 'fix now' feature," said John O'Fallon, founder of Maxum. "Of course,
WebRev isn't going to replace anyone's Web authoring software, but it will
work great alongside it."

WebRev transfers files to and from the server using iAssist's encrypted
file sevices, and so is fully compatible with server-side processing
applications (such as Maxum's own NetCloak, which is also part of iAssist).
Also, Web server administrators can create restricted user accounts, giving
WebRev update capabilities to any number of Web developers while limiting
each to their own Web site folders.

WebRev requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later to run, and can be used to update
Web content on iAssist-enabled servers only. For additional information,

For all current iAssist customers, WebRev is free. WebRev may be
distributed to an unlimited number of Web site content authors for use on
iAssist-enabled Web servers, also at no additional cost.
