MacSpeech launches MacSpeech Dictate Medical

MacSpeech, Inc. has announced the release of MacSpeech Dictate
Medical, the medical professional's speech recognition solution for
the Macintosh.

Designed specifically for the medical and dental professional and
their support staff, MacSpeech Dictate Medical empowers dictating
text directly into applications and practice management systems, and
issuing numerous commands by voice, on the Macintosh. MacSpeech
Dictate Medical includes a digitally enhanced, USB headset
microphone. MacSpeech Dictate Medical requires Mac OS X 10.5.6
(Leopard) or higher and is available today for US$595 as a new
purchase, or US$345 for current owners of MacSpeech Dictate 1.5, or
US$395 for current owners of MacSpeech Dictate 1.3.

MacSpeech Dictate Medical fully understands and supports vocabularies
for more than 54 medical and dental disciplines and specialties,
including General Medicine, Cardiology, Dentistry, OB/GYN,
Pediatrics, Pediatric Dentistry, Radiology, Neurology, Oncology,
Psychiatry, Urology, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology and many more.

"MacSpeech Dictate Medical is the most accurate voice recognition for
medical professionals extant, after only five minutes of training,"
Joe Borelli, MD, president and medical director, MRI at Belfair, LLC.
"Accuracy is 99+ percent even with complex radiology-based medical
terminology. This is the new benchmark for medical speech
recognition."

"MacSpeech Dictate Medical provides medical professionals who use
Macs with unprecedented accuracy in very little training time,"
explained Andrew Taylor, founder and CEO of MacSpeech, Inc. "Medical
professionals use dictation to keep patient records and manage their
practices. Now with MacSpeech Dictate Medical, professionals can
dictate directly into their Mac-based applications for even more
productivity. We're excited to provide a competitively priced and
exceptionally accurate professional medical dictation solution for
the Macintosh."

MacSpeech Dictate Medical will be demonstrated live for the first
time on Friday, June 19, 2009, in the MacPractice Booth #303, at the
Florida National Dental Convention (FNDC) held at the Gaylord Palms
Resort and Convention Center, in Orlando, Florida.

"We're thrilled that MacSpeech Dictate Medical is now available to
empower medical and dental professionals to dictate directly into
MacPractice software, including MacPractice EMR," explained Mark
Hollis, founder and president of MacPractice, Inc. "With MacSpeech
Dictate Medical and MacPractice's leading practice management and
clinical applications for Mac OS X, health care providers will be
more productive and more cost-effective than ever."

MacSpeech Dictate Medical is the premier desktop speech recognition
solution for the medical and dental professional on the Macintosh.
MacSpeech Dictate Medical provides unprecedented speech recognition
accuracy with minimal training and works with existing Mac
applications and practice management systems. MacSpeech Dictate
Medical delivers a truly Mac user experience, and conforms to
behaviors already familiar to Macintosh fans worldwide. Beyond
dictation, MacSpeech Dictate Medical lets people perform basic
navigation of their Mac and control it with their voice to launch
applications, open new windows, execute menu commands, etc.

MacSpeech Dictate Medical requires Intel-based Macintosh hardware and
requires Mac OS X 10.5.6 (Leopard) and higher.

New MacSpeech Dictate Medical solutions, with an enhanced, USB
