Tech Data channel offering makes it even easier for consumers and
enterprise users to run Windows and OS X simultaneously

RENTON, Wash. - May 9th, 2007 - Parallels Inc., makers of Parallels Desktop
for Mac, the award-winning desktop virtualization software that enables
users to run Windows and Mac OS X side-by-side on their Intel-powered Macs
without rebooting, announced today that it is making it even easier for
consumers and businesses to run Windows on their Macs via new direct and
channel offerings that bring together Parallels Desktop for Mac, Windows XP
Professional, and cutting-edge Apple hardware in ready-to-use packages.

For the first time ever, Parallels' exclusive US distributor Tech Data
Corporation is making a selection of 13 pre-configured packages that
include an Apple Mac Mini, iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro or Mac Pro,
pre-loaded with Parallels Desktop for Mac, with Windows XP Pro
pre-installed in a Parallels virtual machine. No reseller or end-user
configuration or software or OS installation is necessary; pre-configured
machines are ready to run Windows XP in Parallels Desktop right out of the
box.

Tech Data will configure these systems from its state-of-the-art
integration facilities. From basic desktops to complex multi-server rack
systems, resellers can leverage Tech Data to efficiently preload and
configure one or hundreds of systems with software applications to meet
specific customer needs.

Tech Data supports Apple and Parallels resellers through its AppleAdvantage
Specialized Business Unit (SBU). Offering dedicated sales, technical and
product management resources, the AppleAdvantage SBU provides specialized
expertise resellers can leverage to more profitably develop, sell and
support Apple-based solutions. All members of the AppleAdvantage SBU inside
and field sales teams are recognized Apple Product Professionals, the most
comprehensive Apple certification available.

"TechData has greatly simplified the selling process for resellers working
with clients who want to experience the best of the Windows and OS X worlds
by preloading Parallels Desktop and Windows on Macs," said Bill Portin,
Vice President of Sales and Operations, Parallels. "These solutions not
only show Parallels' continued channel momentum, but also demonstrates Tech
Data's expertise in providing resellers with solutions that drive sales by
effectively meeting customer needs."

"This exclusive offering demonstrates Parallels' commitment to delivering
valuable programs and offerings to the channel," said Tech Data Senior Vice
President and General Manager, Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Pete
Peterson. "Tech Data's extensive configuration services are a tremendous
value add for our Apple-centric reseller. By pre-configuring these Apple
systems with Parallels Desktop for Mac, our customers save time and cut
costs, freeing resources to focus on selling and driving new business."

"By taking advantage of the opportunity that Parallels and Tech Data are
providing, we're able to give our customers the ability to get a complete
Mac+Windows solution easier, faster and at a lower cost, said Garret
Cleversley, President, MacSolutions Plus. "We've found that each
pre-loaded, pre-configured Mac that we sell saves us upwards of 1.5 hours
of internal setup time, which means that we can substantially reduce the
turn-around time it takes to get our solutions into our customers'
hands. Now when a customer places an order, they know that they'll spend
less time waiting for a shipment to arrive - and less time configuring it
upon its arrival - and more time being productive with their new Mac."
