JavaOne 2000 Conference San Francisco, California June 7, 2000 Macromedia,
Inc. (NASDAQ: MACR), a leading provider of solutions for compelling and
effective Web sites, today shipped Macromedia Dreamweaver UltraDev, the
visual solution for rapid Web application development. Dreamweaver UltraDev
is the first application to allow visual creation of data-driven Web
applications across industry leading server technologies, such as Sun
Microsystems JavaServer Pages (JSP), Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP),
and Allaire ColdFusion Markup Language (CFML).

The following industry vendors announced support for Dreamweaver UltraDev:
IBM, Sun, ATG, Allaire, BroadVision, BlueMartini, Cache/Intersystems,
Documentum, and WebGain.

"Dreamweaver UltraDev will empower developers to work more efficiently when
creating Web applications across their choice of databases, application
