PRESS RELEASE - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

macility PopChar Pro 1.6 adds support for Adobe InDesign

Hagenberg, July-7-2003, ergonis software today announced the immediate
availability of PopChar Pro 1.6, the highly acclaimed tool for "typing"
unusual characters easily without having to remember keyboard combinations.

"It's now about a year since we introduced PopChar X as the Mac OS X
version of PopChar Pro and we are overwhelmed how many customes have
already switched to the new operating system." said Christoph
Reichenberger, founder and CEO of ergonis software. "But we have not
forgotten our customers, who are still using Mac OS 9. We are happy to
announce PopChar Pro 1.6 today, which offers a frequently requested new
feature: automatic font detection for Adobe InDesign." Besides that, the
new version adds some small fixes and minor improvements.

PopChar Pro 1.6 is a recommended update for all users of earlier versions
of PopChar Pro. The update is free for all users who have purchased or
updated their PopChar license after January 1st 2002. Owners of earlier
versions can make use of the special upgrade offer at:
https://store.macility.com/store/popchar/orderupgr.html

A new license includes PopChar Pro 1.6 and PopChar X as well as
free updates and upgrades for both products for 2 years.

More information on PopChar X is available from:

New customers can order at:

About PopChar Pro + X
---------------------

PopChar makes "typing" of unusual characters easy without having to
remember keyboard combinations. It installs a menu that shows all
characters available in the current font. Any character can be inserted in
the current document by simply selecting it from the menu.

Due to the technical differences of the classic Mac OS and Mac OS X,
PopChar comes in two versions: PopChar Pro for use on Mac OS 7.1 to Mac OS
9.x, and PopChar X for use on Mac OS X. For your convenience, however, a
new license key works for both PopChar Pro and PopChar X on a single
computer.

A new PopChar Pro+X license key also includes free updates and upgrades of
PopChar Pro and PopChar X for 2 years after the purchase of the license key.

PopChar X is distributed by ergonis software as part of their macility
software collection.

Pricing and Availability
------------------------

All macility products are distributed on a try-before-you-buy basis.
License keys can be ordered directly from the company's web site:
http://www.macility.com/store/

The price for a single user license of PopChar Pro + X is US$ 29. Owners of
earlier versions can upgrade to the current version for only USD$ 19.
Special prices for higher quantities as well as site licenses are available.
