BLUE WORLD RELEASES LASSO STUDIO 1.5.5 FOR MACROMEDIA DREAMWEAVER AND ULTRADEV

Free maintenance update provides enhanced performance, stability,
compatibility and new features.

Bellevue, WA--February 22, 2001--Blue World Communications, Inc.--pioneers
of the Web Data Engine(tm)--today released Lasso Studio 1.5.5 for
Macromedia Dreamweaver, a free maintenance update to its popular product
for quickly building powerful data-driven Web sites. The release provides
enhanced compatibility with Dreamweaver 4 and Dreamweaver UltraDev 4 along
with several new features, performance enhancements and fixes to all
reported issues. The release also includes an updated version (3.6.6.2) of
Lasso Studio Web Data Engine, the single-user developer version of Lasso
Web Data Engine.

What's New

Enhanced Compatibility - Lasso Studio now supports Dreamweaver 4 and
Dreamweaver UltraDev 4 in addition to Dreamweaver 3 and Dreamweaver
UltraDev 1.

Enhanced Installers - Dedicated installers are now available separately for
Dreamweaver and Dreamweaver UltraDev. An integrated installer now installs
Lasso Studio extensions to Dreamweaver along with Lasso Studio Web Data
Engine. A new installation wizard eases the installation process.

Enhanced Site Builder and Form Builder - Dynamic, database-driven value
lists can now be created via Site Builder and Form Builder. The Form
Builder interface has been streamlined.

Enhanced Converter - The CDML to LDML converter now supports CDML 5.

Enhanced Performance and Stability - The new Lasso Studio Shared Library
improves the speed of parsing and rendering. New Tag Inspectors reduce load
time of Lasso Studio. The Tag Translator has been rewritten to make better
use of memory on large files.

Fixes - Numerous fixes are included throughout Lasso Studio bringing
resolution to all reported and confirmed issues.

Lasso Studio for Macromedia Dreamweaver provides Web professionals a visual
development environment for building database-driven Web sites powered by
Blue World Lasso Web Data Engine. Operating from within Macromedia
Dreamweaver and Dreamweaver UltraDev, Web developers harness the power of
Lasso Studio Configuration Wizard, Lasso Studio Site Builder, as well as
Lasso Tag Selectors, Tag Editors and Converters to ease the process of
building dynamic, data-driven Web sites. Lasso Studio was recently awarded
finalist in this year's Macworld Eddy Award competition for Best Web
Publishing Software. Macworld describes Lasso Studio as "the easiest way to
create a database-driven Web site."
